[redacted] contacted me on Thursday March via email stating he was dropping the hyundai sonata off, demanding his money backI emailed [redacted] back stating that I was out of the office and that when I got back I would send my DOT representatives information As discussed with the customer, we are an "AS IS" He took over an hour to test drive the vehicle, look the vehicle over and discuss with his son if this was the vehicle they wanted to purchaseWe disclosed to the customer that the vehicle had recently had an engine swap (new engine put in) and the engine itself had a day warranty (day warranty remaining) On March 16, ( days after purchase) I talked to the customer for minutes on the phone (3:47PM-3:56PM) and not once did he state any issues with the vehicle, but stated how good the vehicle has been for his son Previous to the purchase of the Hyundai Sonata [redacted] did purchase a VW from us on March 6, On March 10, I received a text asking for a copy of the buyers guide as he could not find his [redacted] (my husband) than received a phone call stating how unsafe this vehicle was, as his days after purchase engine mount bracket broke [redacted] d stated how unsafe the VW was and that it could not be drivenWe offered to pick the vehicle up from Cottage Grove on our trailer and haul it back to Evansville per our cost, but Tim drove this "unsafe/undrivable" VW from Cottage Grove to Evansville with his son in the carThis is approximately a mile drive We offered to fix the engine mount brackets on the VW, however the customer wanted to return the vehicle and put the money towards a different vehicleTim was reimbursed $towards to VWWe did not tell [redacted] that we would not fix the VW, we gave him the option of putting the money he had into the VW towards another vehicle or we would help cover the cost of the VWBoth Tim and his son Jayce chose to go with the purchase of another vehicle Today (Friday March 24, 2017) [redacted] came storming into my office, recording me, I kindly asked him to please step outside and called my husband (***) as I was feeling threatened.He took the licence plated off of the Hyundai Sonata and stated he would be leaving the vehicle on our lot, we explained that if he did so, the vehicle would be towed at his own expenseHe began cussing at both my husband and myself, when we chose to walk awayI immediately contacted my DOT representative [redacted] posted a review on our FB page stating how much we both suck.You people seriously suck!!!--Comment from [redacted] Please feel free to call or email with any questions you may have regarding this issue.Thank you - [redacted] (608) 206-[redacted]

The vehicle was picked up at our expense, and was brought to A&R Automotive for further inspectionHere the vehicle had the following work performed; safety inspection, wiper blade replaced, rear brake pads, front lower ball joint replaced, catalytic converter fixed/weld up to other exhaust, road force balance tires (Syndoms)The Hyundai Sonata was just picked up this morning from Syndoms, from the tires getting balanced and an email was placed to our DOT rep J*** *** letting him know the vehicle was ready for him to come inspect before *** *** could pick it up from C&T Auto Sales, during business hours.
