Jerry C***, the Waterpik Customer Service Manager has reached out to this consumer to learn more about the situation so that he can properly respond The rebate program is not a scam - however there are limitations for redemption per household address written in the body of the rebate Once we fully understand the situation, Waterpik will be able to figure out the next steps that will address the consumers request An initial call was made on January 31st and we will follow up with a second call on 2/if we have not heard back from the consumer Thank you, Susan P***

The Water Pik Customer Service Manager spoke with this customer yesterday and learned that his bank has reversed the chargeWe have sent a return tag to the consumer and he has stated that he will return the unit once he gets that tag The consumer has also been given the direct phone # for Jerry C***, our Customer Service Manager We apologize for the issues caused by this transaction Regards, Susan P***

We were notified by the Revdex.com on 9/that the case with Ms [redacted] was closed Our Customer Service Manager reached out by phone to the consumer to discuss this with her directly as she indicated that due to a disability email was not the best method of communication /> Please advise if additional information is needed

Ms [redacted] , I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding, I appear to have received incorrect information from an internal manager My recommendation - since the cordless model is not working for you, that we replace your unit with a countertop model that does not have replaceable batteries If you will accept this accomodation then we will send you our WP-Aquarius Professional model for your use Please advise Thank you [redacted] ***

The model that the consumer purchased has a two year limited warranty - which means that we will honor any product failures in her case through the date of purchase January
The product should not have failed and we want to make sure that the new model is
functioning properly - I hope that the consumer will call our Customer Service Department again or provide us with a phone number that we can call her - to make sure of proper use and charging of the Water Flosser

I am rejecting this response because:
I have a disability and calling in can be very difficult. I have tried emailing with no reply
My concern is this:
After using the new model for just a month it is already not holding a charge as long as it should
I have read about this model on consumer sites and shows this model has this issue on an ongoing basis
A two year warranty really isn't enough if the battery keeps dying
I hope you understand. I want to have a long term solution, please

Hi and thank you so much for the reply and offer, but before we move forward I have a few questions:
You mentioned removable batteries- does my unit have that? If so , could you replace the bettery?
2. The unit you are offering me is more bulky and would need to sit on the counter and we have absolutely no extra space now. Is that correct?
3. Should this happen so fast with my handheld unit? I really like the model but hate that it keeps losing its charge

I don't like doing negative reviews and tend to have a bit of mercy with companies if they've supplied good customer service when there's a problemSuch is not the case with Waterpik after my 5th phone call to themI purchased a Water Pik Toothbrush/Water Flosser on June 6, 2014, from Drugstore.com, and was enjoying the use of it very muchIn December, the button on the handle of the flosser began stickingTo keep the water from spraying all over the place until you get it where you want it in your mouth and then turn the dial to "on," you can use the button to "pause" where there is no water that sprays out of the tipA couple weeks later it was not working at all - just stayed stuckEven when I pulled it out with a tweezers, it wouldn't allow any water to flow throughOn DecI called Water Pik since it was under warrantyThey were very nice and said they would send out the assembly and explained how it was to be replacedOn DecI received a box from them and in it was the water reservoir part of the unitObviously not what I was expecting, so I called on Decto report the problemThey apologized and said they would send out the correct part and 2-day Express itI waited until Jan(days later) and called again*** said she would check on it and call me back with the tracking #No call backOn JanI called again and spoke to *** who informed me that the part had been on backorder and she didn't know why "they" hadn't told me that, but that it looked like it would ship today and I'd receive it in 3-business daysI asked about the 2-day Express and she said she didn't know anything about that since they weren't allowed to make those decisionsShe said it would arrive in 3-business days so I'd have it "next week."
On Jan16, the end of "next week," days later, I called after the mail came and spoke to Lee who looked up tracking info to inform me that it was in Durham, NC (I'm in Central Virginia) and is scheduled to arrive on Jan20thHmmmm why don't I have a warm and cozy feeling about that? :-) I'm not feeling real good about customer service, warranty or reliability of Water Pik products

I just called Ms*** directly hoping to find a time that we can talk on the phone, understand what is happening with her unit and get this resolved for her
I left a message on her recorder with my direct number is 970-221-- please call me and I will get one of our Consumer experts involved to see what we can do to fix this

We do not make a hand-held model with a replaceable batteryWe only have models with rechargeable batteries
The only other options we have are countertop models that plug in
I did send you out a new unit of the WP-Professional Cordless model today - per our conversations last week
