The consumer signed three contracts on 9/29/13 (please see attached) for home remodeling work on a bathroom installation, master bedroom renovation, and attic renovation. These projects were planned to occur consecutively beginning with the bathroom. C Thomas Smith Ext. began the bathroom project, however, we have been unable to finish to the project due to the consumer's dissatisfaction with our work and request that we not continue to the project. We addressed multilple concerns throughout the project to the best of our ability at the said project phase. Majority of consumer complaints were regarding unfinished work, which would have been completed upon project completion. The consumer did not allow a worker of our company on the property at the final meeting and communicated that they did not want our company to complete the projects. We feel we have attempted to meet their concerns in the most professional manner possible.

The consumer requested refunds of deposits for the two following projects. Contract language offers the consumer the right to cancellation within three days of signing the agreement without penalty or obligation. It is beyond the cancellation period, therefore, the consumer is not entitled to a refund of their deposit.

To date, project cost for the bathroom is estimated at $4756.12. The consumer has paid the initial down payment of $3020 and a draw of $1046, which totals $4066. C Thomas Smith Ext. will not seek the remaining $690.12 from the consumer.
