C2 Tactical

I’m reviewing the CCW class, NOT C2 tactical. Specifically instructor Dan L.
To start, we had to wait two months for this appointment due to Covid reason and limiting class sizes. Which is fine. However, when we arrived, the classroom was nearly standing room only. We got the last two seats available in the room and we felt like we were smashed in like sardines. There were 3 people not wearing masks, one being the instructor. There’s a sign stating masks are required.
Next, Mr. L introduced himself as an ex cop. He expressed to us his frustration with the courts due to his back story of losing his job due to an officer involved shooting when the victim died due to his gun shot. During the nature class we learned what not to say to the cops and the courts to keep us out of trouble. I was under the assumption that we would learn the laws of gun ownership. Instead I felt we were learning how to lie.
Another time, Mr. L discussed current issues such as Covid, the uses of masks, the fear of protesters, the media agendas, the KKK, the black panthers and Aunt Jemima. I felt he was very insensitive to current events surround racial injustice. I felt like I was in a room surrounded by angry republicans. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. I feel his involvement in conversation was very unprofessional.
Lastly, the class was poorly run. We paid $100 for a 7 hour class, that should have included the paperwork for the fingerprinting needed for our card. For whatever reason, that paperwork is no longer available at C2 tactical and we were referred to the DPS website. Now we’re at home trying to figure out what to do. With the amount of information we received, it could have taken 30 minutes to go over. The rest was a waste of my time. We had an hour and a half lunch. When the classroom portion was complete, he sent us to the simulation room with the intention of only being able to take 8 people at a time. There would have had to be 4 groups for that to happen. So we rushed to the door of the simulation room so we wouldn’t have to wait and waste anymore time. We waited 45 minutes before we finally had enough and left.
I will never refer C2 tactical for any classes after this experience. I would think twice before choosing this class.
