Review: I contacted Caballero International Moving in January 2014 to move my furniture and other material from New York City to Palo Alto in California. For the moving services, I paid $7600. When the furniture was delivered several weeks later, I was shocked to see that there was extensive damage to my furniture, lamps, large screen TV and other materials. The [redacted] of Caballero Moving ([redacted]. I do not know his last name) was there in Palo Alto when the delivery occurred. He saw first hand the damages. He asked me to get it appraised by someone who repairs furniture, lamps and TVs. He was very confident that his Insurance Company would pay for it. As per [redacted]s request, I got everything appraised by licensed professionals and took extensive photos and sent it to him. The total damages were appraised at $5749. It is now over 3 months since the move and [redacted] is refusing to take my calls or answer my e-mails. I am deeply disappointed in the Delivery Services resulting in major damage. I would like the Revdex.com to let [redacted] know that this is a serious business issue & he needs to pay.Desired Settlement: As per the detailed information provided by me to Caballero International Moving, I am simply requesting him to pay me the amount for the damages as assessed by experts repairmen. The amount I am requesting is $5749 (this is to cover the repair or replacement of material damaged by Caballero Moving).
