I'm just saying this now. Dont EVER buy a car from Cable Dahmer Kia in Lee's Summit! I had my certified vehicle for less than a week before having problems with it. They have now had my car for almost a month with one phone call back from the guy who is supposed to be taking care of it only because I called him 4 times prior the same day. I have been told 3 times now that they dont have time to fix my car. And how is this? When I purchased almost $3000 worth of warranties besides the 2 the thing already had just in case we had problems. I am working on car payment #2 with NO CAR! I was told at 2:30pm today that I would be recieving a phone call from the GM only to have the service manager call me at 5:30 and promise to have the Gm call me at 7:30pm this evening. It is now 8:55pm and still no phone call. DONT EVER BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO LAWYER UP ????????
Side note: this is only part of what I have had to deal with when it comes to their "customer service".

I bought a used car from these folks was given a flash drive that was suppose to have all the financing info on it it was empty. Have called and no one will return my calls and on the title application the amount it shows is more than the car was advertised for. Then I get the payments from the fiancé company and it is way more than what the title application says. Called again and no one will return my calls. The fiancé company can't help because they can only go by what the dealership sent them. I feel like I am being scammed and just want answers and I feel as if the business needs to be reported so they can't take advantage of others.

We have sent hard copies of the paperwork to the customer. We have reached out to the customer in an effort to resolve, and take care of any of the customers questions and concerns. The customer disconnected the call attempts that we have made. They have our customer experience managers direct dial office and cell phone if they have any outstanding issues that need resolved. Sincerely, Cable Dahmer Automotive Group

I dropped off my car Cable Dahmer Kia Lee's Summit for one recall part to place on my car. After the dealership overview I was told two additional recall parts had to be placed on my 2008 Kia Sportage. I received a loaner until the work was completed. I returned Monday to pick up my car. I got in and started my car up it was loud missing, putting, stalling out. I went inside the dealership to ask WHAT your service department did to my car. A Salesman's came out to calm me down and came out to my car and ask that I raise the hood up so he could inspect we both saw a new black sleeve. I pointed out (what’s that) a black sleeve up by my radiator causing a vibration no air could get through trapping heat. The Salesman road around The KIA parking lot and witness how it was running. (After the recall parts). He told me to drive it a little and the kinks should work out maybe your car is getting adjusted to the recall parts. Current state of my car is no longer running my engine is totally blown. My vehicle had to towed three times after Cable Dahmer Kia serviced my car. The Final tow was back to Cable Dahmer Kia Lee’s summit. My car sat for two weeks at the Dealership finally contacts me the Service Manager Greg Tolan offered to repair my car for $975.00. (I gave the OK due to I needed my car) Needless to say my car was running fine until I took it in for recall parts placed. My car sat another three weeks I get another call from the Service Manager Greg Tolan stating he was unable to repair my car due to they were not allowed to use after parts. And he would not repair it and he would not allow his Mother to drive a car with a used engine in it. The car is old anyway I would need to purchase a new one. I ask Greg was it running at all and could I drive it 5 miles to my home. He stated yes it’s running enough for you to drive it home. I went to pick my Kia Sportage up and it would not start at all. I contacted the service Manager to inform Greg Tolan my car would not start at all as.

The Cable Dahmer Kia Service Team is committed to industry-leading customer satisfaction and honest automotive repair. To summarize the service history, the customer dropped off her 2008 Kia Sportage for a recall repair on 4/14/2018 (Repair Order #8963). The vehicle had 185,120 miles. 3 recalls were performed; SC138 Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit connector inspection which is part of the anti-lock braking system, SC104 Underbody Anti-corrosion protection, and SC098 Brake Light Switch replacement. Cable Dahmer Kia provided a loaner vehicle for 2 days at no charge. The recall repairs did not include any component, or affect any part of the engine or engine cooling system. However, our factory trained Kia technician did find a leaking Radiator Hose & Thermostat during the repairs. The Service Advisor noted these findings on the Repair Order and recommended replacement of both to prevent further coolant leaks. The customer declined these recommended cooling system repairs. We have no knowledge as to the black sleeve the customer is referring to in her complaint.

The customer returned to the dealership on 7/11/2018 (Repair Order #67750, 188798 miles) and stated the vehicle had not been running correctly since the last visit, approximately 3 months and 3,678 miles ago. We are not aware of the 2 tows that occurred prior to this visit and therefore do not know where the vehicle was repaired before returning on 7/11/2018. After inspection by the same factory trained Kia technician, it was found that coolant was now getting into the engine cylinders due to a failed cylinder head gasket. Cable Dahmer Kia did not charge the customer for the diagnostic time necessary to complete this engine inspection. The Service Advisor originally presented a cost to repair one of the cylinder head gaskets, but it was later determined that both were likely bad. Head gaskets typically fail due to engine overheating from low coolant. When the engine overheats, it does not affect one side, but both sides. The Service Manager then called the customer and recommended a Used engine, rather than replacement of just the cylinder head gaskets as it would be more cost effective. He stated that he “would not let his mother repair just one head gasket” because of the high probability the repair would not be effective, due to the evidence of engine overheating. The customer stated that she would not be completing any repairs and wanted to pick up the vehicle. The vehicle was ready for pickup on 7/24/2018. A few weeks later the customer returned to the dealership to pick up the vehicle and found that it would no longer start (due to coolant slowly leaking into the engine cylinders through the failed head gasket). The Service Manager agreed to tow the vehicle to the customer’s residence per her request, and at no cost to her. Cable Dahmer Kia recommends engine replacement with a Used engine. Sincerely, Cable Dahmer Automotive Group

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Assumed Answered] Due to I wasnt having any issues with my car prior to bring it to the Cable Dahmer dealership. All of my gages were in sync, no warning lights. Cable Dahmer seen an oppurtunity and took advantage of a lady and sabatoged my older car in order to sale me a new car. This is a unscrupulos business practice. Their explantion is not exceptable
