Cabinet Market Daytona, LLC Reviews (1)

Mark Dodd business Cabinet Markets Clermont, LLC at first looked like a promising company the first time entering the address at Clermont Florida,*** office File Number *** The individual that was there at the time was professional with a good attitudeWe saw what we liked in the store and made an appointment to provide an estimate at our homeThat individual did not show up for the scheduled appointment and did not callWe eventually called again and found out that he was out of town and and he said he had fallen out of a tree and got bruised so he could not make itIt would have been nice if he would have called and informed us, but that did not happenAfter weeks of waiting, he called and said that he could come to provide an estimate on a Saturday early morning which happenedWe got an estimate and decided to go with the kitchen overallHe was to write up the papers, which he did send via emailThe estimate was on the high end for the kitchen makeover, but we agreed to move forwardOk, we waited for another weeks to hear back, but found out by calling the Daytona number and ended up talking to a secretary in Daytona, was advised the Clermont store will be closedThe secretary transferred us to Mark Dodd and he agreed to complete the job already sarted before the Clermont store will be closedWe had to go through the estimate process again, which caused another week delayAfter the second estimate the price increased another $because Mark said the first guy who quit did not fully include the price of what we requestedOKWe agreed again to continue with the makeoverWe paid percent of the cost to get the materials for the cabinets and granite counter topWe had to make room in our garage to store the cabinets when the parts arrived, which was delivered on a Sunday by MarkMark then contracted a cabinet install crew, which took another weeks, who had to come on site and build and install on siteAfter a day at my home, the contractor could not complete the job because they did not have all of the materials to complete the jobMark had to order the additional materialsWhen we saw the initial job we requested a change to the glass cabinet doors instead of the solid wood doors to increase the effectWe paid the full price for this change, which the re-order took another weeks for materials to arrive for the door change but the glass for the new doors did not arriveMark came a week later to install the new glass cabinet doors without the glassIt took an additional weeks for the glass to arrive and to be installedMark installed the glas but, broke one of the cabinet glass windows, and Mark had to re-order one glass pane that he brokeThat re-order took another weeks to be ordered and installedThe glass was installed with glue and plastic screw in tabsThe glass that was broke took him another weeks to install because he said that he was so busy and could not come to Clermont on the appointments dates made with himThis was time off from work for us to make these appointmentsWne Mark finally did the last window pane install, he did not use glue to install the last glass pane, only the four plastic screw in tabs. The four solid wood doors we paid for in advance, to be replaced with the glass pane doors, Mark tried to keep the paid for solid wood doors for himself, which he knew we had paid for in advance for both sets of doorsAfter confronting Mark about returning the solid wood doors, he got highly upset and did not want to communicate with us anymoreWe demanded that the doors be returned to us, which he took weeks returning to usMark eventually returned the doors, but pulled up in his truck and did not ring the doorbell or knock on the doorMark set the returned doors on the front entrance and got back into his truck and left without a wordWe also requested a pantry redo, but this was the worst job ever out of the kitchen makeoverMark had us beleiving that the pantry doors was going to be replaced with new pantry doorshis was the biggest SCAMMark ordered to solid wood cabinet doors and screwed the wood cabinet doors onto the existing pantry metal doors which detracted from everything that was already completed and Mark refused to correct this very shoddy jobNow the pantry doors cannot close properly which he will not acknowledge as bad workMark waited until he was paid in full by us with the promise of completing the pantryWe paid Mark in good faith and he screwed us with those cabinet doors he added to the existing pantry doors and disappearedWhat a SCAM!!! We invested over $12,with Cabinet Market Clermont in time and money for this kitchen makeover, and the work is very subpar for a professional cabinet installerI will not recommend this company to anyoneI have pictures of the before and after for this kitchen makeover documentedWe have not heard from him since
