Warning ? save yourself the stress, anguish and suffering that surly will come your way if you sign a contract and transfer funds to Cabinet Outlet LLC. with locations in; Salem NH, Dover NH and Manchester NH.

It is official, we have been scammed.

We have been homeowners of multiple properties for over 40 years and fell for the deception and the empty promises of lead designer and supplier Rob C of Cabinet Outlet LLC.

It is undisputable that we have 13 installed cabinets.

I am not going to get into the game of 'He Said, She Said? or divulge any of the intimidating emails we received from Rob C, a Judge and the Court of Law is the platform for that.

Deceptive people pray on their victim's embarrassment and reluctance to share their experiences, and that is the key to a deceitful person's success. Cabinet Outlet's dishonesty stops here and now.

If we can help other homeowners that are about to consider contracting with Cabinet Outlet LLC, and help them avoid a costly mistake and share the suffering we have endured, then that is the Silver Lining in this nightmare.
Product_Or_Service: Kitchen Cabinets

Desired Outcome

Refund Cabinet Outlet . can send a representative (not Rob) to uninstall the current 13 cabinets and return our deposit of $10,000.00. They can also remove any other product at our home.

Cabinet Outlet Response • Aug 18, 2020

Cabinet Outlet LLC is well received and receives referrals daily. The Cabinet Outlet team is made up of great people with families.

Cabinet Outlet only was to deliver and install cabinetry. This homeowner has been difficult from beginning but we work with our clients and all team members, operations, delivery, installers, and the sales person were all sworn at, yelled at, and bullied from the beginning

The kitchen design was changed 3 times during the scope of work and thousands paid in additional cabinetry. Before the initial contract, kitchen was designed 6 times. Plumbing, electrical, etc was NOT part of the scope of work.

From time to time, there are individuals or homeowners who bounce checks or cannot make final payments. We cannot forgive debts or payments. In this case, its theft of services and fraud.

Homeowner knows we are making attempts to collect a debt and feel slandering will push the company away and have us stop. The individuals filing complaint are making erroneous remarks and complaints to avoid paying debt and committed fraud.

Cabinet Outlet was contracted to ONLY deliver and install kitchen cabinetry. No other work.

The kitchen was designed 5 times with homeowners contractor to move a door. The entry door was moved twice by Homeowner & their contractor. Each time they moved the door to avoid spending money on a beam. Each time Cabinet Outlet had to re-design to place cabinetry in various places.

Once former or older cabinetry was removed, it was detected that plumbing was older than 20 years old, frail or brittle, and was likely to cause water damage. Homeowner demanded Cabinet Outlet supply a plumber. Which was not part of initial contract. Once tried to bill the cost of the plumbing fee, they refused and said they would pay when everything was done.

Wall in the kitchen was opened up which was part of the design. In order to utilize the 8" by 59" of space, it would need to be framed but homeowner refused to pay and said they rather design, move cabinets to avoid the cost.

Cabinets were delivered for install prior to plumbing detection and the plumbing was completed within 5 business days of the demo.

Following the delivery of cabinets and plumbing, homeowners decided that they wanted to revert to the original design which had the stove on another wall. This required additional cabinetry, design again was changed which was now multiple new designs.

When cost was provided to re-design, they refused and stated that they would pay at the end of the install.

New cabinetry delivered within 4 business days or 6 days. The installation was 3/4 completed with only the trim left to install but the homeowner stated they were leaving for a week long vacation to a lake, within 30 minute drive and will allow the install to finish when they got back.

Cabinet Outlet requested that half the balance be paid and they refused until install was complete.

The homeowner realized the install was complete, with the exception of the base molding around peninsula and toe kick.

They refused to pay the balance and wanted the counters installed before they would pay. We refused to finish without some payment and the, as the usual, started to yell, swear, and say that they would not pay until everything was done.... However, at that point they said they deserve a discount for stress due to delay because of plumbing.

Plumbing was not part of scope of work and was detected after demo. Plumbing was not part of the installation of the cabinetry. Cabinet Outlet sent over plumber to streamline and just get the install done.

We care about our clients and feel this homeowner is committing fraud, consumer fraud and theft of services.

Cabinet Outlet reserves its right to use and or retain the information, content, and other related documents submitted by homeowner herein.

Cabinet Outlet LLC response below reads in part "The homeowner realized the install was complete, with the exception of the base molding around peninsula and toe kick." Their words not mine.
THE UNDISPUTABLE FACTS:
Cabinet Outlet LLC lead designer *** C designed the kitchen
All new appliances were purchased at a location suggested by Cabinet Outlet LLC and appliances were on site at time of install
Scope of installation = a total of 13 cabinets installed
The cabinet under the sink only opens half way because it hits the stove
The refrigerator does not fit under the overhead cabinet
No cabinet handles installed
Trash unit was never installed because there is no 18" cabinet
Cutlery drawer is not installed
There are no panels on the backside of the peninsula- just exposed plywood
I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST - the design of one cabinet installed does not match the others - totally different door and drawer
Demolition of previous kitchen on 7/14/2020
$10,000.00 deposit paid on 6/6/2020
Two emails from *** C of Cabinet Outlet LLC. both on 8/11/020
o 9:52 am - "The amount owed is actually over $10,000.00."
o 10:32 am - "If we need to pursue legal action, we will be requesting over $10,000.00 plus damages."
13 cabinets for over $20,000.00 and still an unusable kitchen since 714/2020

Cabinet Outlet Response • Aug 20, 2020

Cabinet Outlet will not respond to subjective or erroneous complaints.

Attached photos and have signed Purchase Orders, Disclosures. We have emails and documents sourcing everything which is objective.

Homeowner changed the design for various, personal reasons and with requests. There is a cost for cabinetry and moving cabinets around because they moved a door twice with their contractor.

The balance is over $8000.00. Nothing is owed by Company to Homeowner, as their are cabinetry installed and cabinets that were to be picked up (multiple) at the home but they will not return. The install minus toe kick was installed.

Homeowner purposely did not allow back on site due to large balance they do not want to pay. Part of it was for plumbing.

Cabinet Outlet has sent it to collections and legal at this point. We can not respond any further due to collections involved.

Failure to meet their contractual agreements when installing my new kitchen.
My kitchen was NOT installed according to contract. The installers had neglected to install the two 1 1/2 inch spacers which were contracted to go on each side of the current 33" refrigerator so as to make room for a larger 36" refrigerator in the future. This was VERY important to us as their original designer told us, it was a 'value added' aspect of the kitchen that would help in a future sale of the house.
I called Cabinet Outlet and asked when they were going to correct the faulty installation my kitchen with a 36" refrigerator opening as per THEIR design and which they contracted to do. I was told in order to have a 36" opening with spacers I would have needed a 36" cabinet. If that was to be the case why didn't the office manager or installer tell me about this before they decided to install the wrong cabinet without the contracted spacers? This was clearly a design failure made by Cabinet Outlet. The office manager then had the audacity to tell me that in the future I could have someone else come in and make adjustments to the pantry unit to fix this or the new buyer could pay to have this done. HELLO, I just paid to have a brand-new kitchen installed; there isn't supposed to be a need to fix anything unless there has been a faulty design or installation! In addition, because there were no spacers put in next to the refrigerator the Pantry cabinet doors rubbed the light rail installed above the refrigerator even though the doors were adjusted to the maximum distance from that object. A maximum adjustment which they had made. More faulty installation! In order to fix this, I had to get a real cabinet installer to come and he had to put spacers behind the hinges in order to allow the cabinet doors to open without being damaged any further. This modification would NOT have been necessary if the new kitchen was installed correctly in the first place! In addition, this professional cabinet installer had to rework the bottom of the cabinet with the kick space heater so that it could be properly installed.
On top of all of this the I paid for 2 of the 1 1/2 inch Refrigerator Reveals (total list price $350.00) and the 30" Refrigerator Panel (total list price $449.00) (A total list price of $799.00). But these were not used because of their not honoring the installation contract.
My attempt to have another meeting with the office manager in the hope of resolving these issues was unsuccessful since he postponed the meeting twice and then just didn't show up on the final agreed upon date. He has made no further attempt to contact me.
I considered taking them to Small Claims Court and I called the Cabinet Outlet office to get the name of the company representative for the court papers (this is required in New Hampshire). They would NOT give me the name. When I called another one of their showrooms and asked for the name of the legal owner that store manager began to yell at me and sought to intimidate me by threatening that they were going to counter sue me for $20,000,00 and then hung up on me.
So, do not work with these people unless they agree that your final payment will not be made until you have looked over the kitchen for at least 5 to 7 days.
Also, do not work with them until they give you a clear and detailed layout of the company's legal leadership and ownership structure so if you have a problem with any office manager you can talk with someone over him if necessary and if you do have any legal issues you will have the information that you need to seek a legal remedy.
I feel that I must make a formal complaint so that future victims of this organization will be warned before it's too late.

Desired Outcome

I want the contract that I and Cabinet Outlet signed completed and that requires a 36" space for the refrigerator.

Cabinet Outlet Response • Jul 10, 2020

Please find signed Purchase Order, Signed Design with Measurements, Signed Disclosures, Signed Delivery Receipt, Signed Installation Completion.

Cabinet Outlet has nothing to do with Refrigerator or Appliances. Design was for a 33" Refrigerator, Design Signed, kitchen installed. Homeowner, after 6 months, decided 33" Refrigerator he purchased was too small and wants Cabinet Outlet to come out and make room for a 36" refrigerator. Does not happen that easily and there are counter tops, cabinetry to the right and left of the refrigerator.

Cabinet Outlet stated that cabinetry needs to be made smaller adjacent to the refrigerator, either right or left of the refrigerator. Then counters have to be uninstalled as well, cut, and reinstalled. Homeowner was told we would need to uninstall and install new crown and trim. Its not just as easy as to widen the refrigerator section.

Homeowner complaint is after 6 months following installation simply because Homeowner wants to change out the 33" refrigerator he purchased to a 36" refrigerator, after months following installation. We do NOT sell appliances. We are told what appliances are purchased and that is what is designed.

Install went great, kitchen looks awesome, cabinets are higher end, and complaint is well over 6 months, he asked us to make room for 36" refrigerator at no cost. Also, homeowner is has a stress disorder and is constantly calling the showroom and makes threats. He suffers from *** We are worried.

Cabinet Outlet has a detailed process and all designs are confirmed prior to delivery and installation. Purchasers sign a Purchase Order with material, Design with measurements, and Design images.

The homeowner decided following installation and a period of over 6 months he wanted to upgrade from 33 inch refrigerator he purchased to a 36 inch refrigerator. Kitchen can be uninstalled and installed again. However, that takes labor, uninstalling cabinetry adjacent from wider cabinet to smaller cabinetry, counters have to be removed to be cut again, etc.

The homeowner believes this can be done at no cost and done within a day. Homeowner made statements that a kitchen should designed to have a homeowner swap out a 33" refrigerator to a 36" refrigerator easily or on demand. It does NOT work that way. The space is 33". In order to make room for a 36", we need to uninstall and install all new cabinetry, trim, and counters will need to be cut but if damaged, new counters are going to be needed.

Our homeowners are thrilled about the kitchens. Notice the homeowner is not saying the install was poor or the cabinetry was less than great. The cabinetry and the install went great.

The design was signed for a 33" refrigerator. Only after the installation and after 3 months, homeowner decided he wants to upgrade or buy a wider refrigerator.

Read this complaint carefully. We installed for a 33 inch appliance but he states he is complaining that 3 inch filler was not installed or 1 1/2" on each side.

Homeowner wanted us to come, uninstall what was installed to make room for a 36" refrigerator. It was explained that the kitchen would need to be redesigned with smaller cabinets, counters need to be cut down to size, cabinetry will need to be smaller adjacent the refrigerator, and more labor is required.

This purchaser suffers from *** and ***along with OCD. We are really sorry he constantly pacing, upset, and going through what he is going through. The installers were made to feel uneasy at the installation as well.

Why has this complaint been closed? This company has not fulfilled shier contract.

Cabinet Outlet Response • Sep 11, 2020

Cabinet Outlet has done everything noted in the contract and what was specified in the design.

Cabinet Outlet does NOT sell appliances and cannot simply replace refrigerator panels and cabinetry simply when or because a homeowner decides to purchase a bigger refrigerator after the installation of the cabinetry and after months.

Homeowner wants additional work done at $0 cost to homeowner and that is unreasonable. Submitted to Revdex.com and shared with homeowner multiple times are the Signed Purchase Order, Signed Design, Signed Disclosures, Signed Delivery Receipt, Signed Images of the design were all executed prior to delivery, installation, and final payment was made following install and walk through.

Homeowner is unstable and has admitted to as such. He has PTSD. This has been very stressful for the Cabinet Outlet team's men and women who have had to answer to, respond to this gentleman. We want him to stop or simply understand that its additional cost and we will help but within reason and cannot work for free or at no cost.

Cabinet Outlet Team

Request return $6,000 deposit from 6 months ago. Cabinet Outlet promised a home/field visit completed within the 3 day cancellation period. No show.
Return $6,000 deposit (***-signed 11/7/19). No materials or goods were ever ordered as the final Purchase Order (*** received 11/29/19) for cabinet style/colors wasn't signed or agreed to for unresolved issues. To me, the deposit contract should be null and void bc Rob C ignored his salesperson's guarantee to me for a home visit completed within the 3 day cancellation policy that protected my deposit in case of unsatisfactory issues. (Visit was cancelled twice and finally took place not 3 days but 11 days later.)
Originally I emailed them a professional kitchen design for estimate. In store, before signing the P.O. I specifically requested and was promised by the salesperson a home/field visit within the 3-day refundable cancellation period. A visit was scheduled for 8 a.m. on the 3rd day within the terms to modify/cancel the project if needed. I wouldn't have given a deposit without that clarification. I asked twice for my receipt of the 4 pg documents but was refused being informed receipts would be emailed to me that day from billing. Two days later still no receipt. An email to *** I requested my receipt and stated my concern of only 1 day left if my project needed to be withdrawn. I tried to confirm my in-home appointment for the third day. *** did not respond to my concerns about the 3 day clause. On the third and final day to revoke the contract, if needed, I waited for the in-home appointment, no one showed up. With no answers to my questions I began to wonder if this is a ploy for an erroneous contract and no intention of honoring promises. Home-field check rescheduled 5 days later, no one showed. Eleven days from deposit, an hour late, Jared arrived for in-home check. He didn't bring a sample door and explained I was misinformed about glass doors. Jared revised P.O. and would send it that day for me to sign. I explained the cabinet door was critical and I would need to go back to the store for color samples/styles. I asked who my contact should be since I had been communicating with Jared, *** C, and salesperson. I asked for it not to be the salesperson as I had been given misinformation about receipts, appointments, 3 day cancellation, and glass doors. The salesperson was a new trainee and potentially unqualified to produce P.O.,couldn't answer questions and should not be allowed to give promises or accept deposits without supervision. *** and/or Jared both ignored these erroneous promises and errors that has led me to this complaint.
Lack of respect with poor communication from salesperson, ***, and Jared was ongoing. Time wasted away from job waiting for people to show up. Their delays have led us into covid-19 self-isolation and Stay Home orders. Due to the financial position I have with the shut down I emailed Jared and salesperson to please return my deposit and I will re-start project at a later date and work through the design issues. Explained that I am in high risk for coronavirus: 70 yo with health issues. I will not be shopping for counter fabricators, back splashes, sinks, faucets, hoods, appliances for a remodel. I won't allow contractors in/out of the house for weeks. Financially, with the unknown effect of covid-19 I don't have @$20,000 for kitchen remodel at this time. For over 3 weeks emails were ignored except one from Jared saying he would call. No call. My final email included *** C explaining since no one responded to me I have no choice but to file a Revdex.com complaint and this was a courtesy email (not threat) so everyone would be informed. ***'s reply to me was quick, spiteful, and unprofessional. He erroneously accused me of threatening him and blamed me for all issues. I've spent way too much time trying to connect with Jared and *** C. It's taken me a full day to peruse my emails/texts just to detail this complaint. Cabinet Outlet has lost $0 since this project was never finalized, final P.O.not approved or signed. No products or goods ordered. Hope for understanding.

Desired Outcome

Please refund my $6,000 deposit. Cabinet Outlet in Dover, Salem, and Nashua ignored their obligation to provide me an in-home/field visit during the first three days of signing a purchase order agreement and giving a deposit. I was promised home visit during the 3 day cancellation period to protect my deposit in the likelihood we had disagreements on materials or design they could provide. They did not show up for the appointment we scheduled within the grace period. It was 11 days later instead of 3 days which included two appointments during that time where no one showed up and didn't notify me they were not coming. The final Purchase Order was never approved or signed by me because of unresolved issues. No products or goods were ever ordered. I no longer trust this company. Cabinet Outlet has had my $6,000 deposit for six months and has probably earned interest on it. They have lost $0 since this project was never finalized.

Cabinet Outlet Response • Apr 23, 2020

Cabinet Outlet cares about its clients and understands that, due to COVID-19, many that purchased cabinetry may request for refund as they are scared or feel the times are uncertain for them or us as Americans.

The complaint is erroneous. The purchaser is using this platform to slander, pressure, and try to make attempts to blackmail for refund of kitchen purchased. COVID-19 should not be excuse to be careless and demand full refund because you do not want individuals in your home. The *** purchased the cabinets end of November and measurements were checked. We have been trying to coordinate the installation of cabinetry.

The ***s signed Purchase Orders and Disclosures. Cabinet Outlet tried to refund less restocking fee but the ***s want full refund. They purchased cabinets specific to the specs of their kitchen.

We have cabinetry and want to schedule an install date. When we made attempts to schedule they put things off and with COVID 19 stated that they wanted the full refund.

The cabinetry fits there space specifically and are semi custom cabinets. They stated they would file complaint with Revdex.com and slander us if we did not give full refund. They made 3 attempts to blackmail.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The Undisputed Facts:
1. Cabinet Outlet did not fulfill their promise at time of deposit/signing contract to have a home-field visit within the 3-days cancellation deadline. (Detailed in complaint)
2. I was not given a receipt for deposit or documents at time of transaction and was erroneously told that billing would email it to me the day of signing. (detailed in complaint)
3. 2nd day from deposit *** C ignored my concerns about the 3-day cancellation policy being fulfilled as promised. (details in complaint)
4. 11th day finally in-home visit. Jared told me that on the day I gave deposit and signed documents that I was misinformed about the style and color of cabinets. He would send me a new P.O. that day and we could work on the changes to style/color when I came into the store with my second payment. I clearly stated I was leaving town in 2 days and he guaranteed sending P.O. that day so we could decide what to order before I left. No response from Jared that day causing more delays sending the project into another month. (detailed in complaint)
5. 16th day I received Jared's P.O. when I was out of town. I did not approve it. I did not sign it. Jared knew that changes still needed to be made. He/Cabinet Outlet was never authorized to order cabinets. (detailed in complaint)
6. It was now clear the project had been delayed for at least 3 more weeks. I notified Jared, salesperson, and *** that I had to postpone the project due to previous commitments and it would be Mid-March before I could resume the project.
7. Mid-March for the next few weeks I began sending emails asking for a refund to Jared with little response. The sixth email I included *** and he responded within 15 minutes with a litany of accusations including I was "making things up". I responded maybe he didn't know all the facts and possibly Jared can forward him all of my recent correspondence. Instead he continued to blast me.
8. Cabinet Outlet never offered me a refund minus re-stocking fee. *** offered for me to pay him $2114.25 more or full install $7k more. (There should be nothing to re-stock. If Jared erroneously ordered cabinets knowing I didn't sign P.O. or pay the installment and that I may change style or color that seems like poor business skills and is Cabinet Outlet's problem, not mine.)
9. My complaint states that due to the national shutdown I do not have the $20k for kitchen remodel at this time. *** neglected the fact that during a pandemic I have a right to choose not to shop all over Boston to complete a kitchen remodel. (Details in complaint)
10. With zero knowledge of me or my situation *** responded by saying - I have an "erroneous financial hardship"! ???

***'s comments concerning slander, pressure, and blackmail is wholly disheartening. Covid-19 is not an "excuse" to not allow strangers in and out of my home. It is my right. I never said it was my intention to slander anyone, but lay out facts. Revdex.com is a resolution center between businesses and homeowner. *** sees it as a threat instead of a customer right, as a last step attempt to ethically resolve problems. Issues continually delayed and ignored for weeks. Reading through his other Revdex.com complaints they all have a similar thread and response. My last correspondence with *** was never a threat. Just facts. I wrote, "Today I plan to go back over months of emails, texts, and notes to file a formal complaint to the Revdex.com. This action goes against all I believe in, but you have left me no choice. I just want to notify you of my intentions so that you won't feel blindsided. I'm sorry that you seem to be in the middle of this dispute."

I honestly (naively) expected a simple refund. We were still in the preliminary stage of the process and had not determined which cabinets to order. I realize this is a difficult time for everyone. When things get hard and we're under pressure it's time to show a spirit of fairness and generosity. And that is what I am asking.

Cabinet Outlet Response • Apr 27, 2020

Attached Signed PO, DISCLOSURES, & DESIGN.

Cabinet Outlet cares about its clients and sells hundreds of cabinetry. Purchaser purchased goods and executed Purchase Order, Disclosures, and Design. Cabinet Outlet does not agree with the subjective complaints but wants Purchaser to know that Cabinet Outlet team and families cares.

Cabinet Outlet does not dismiss clients complaints and tried to remedy immediately but purchaser requested full refund. The purchaser was and continues to be difficult to communicate with and has bullied or made attempts to use Revdex.com and slander as means to bully and blackmail to attempt to receive refund. At this time, we simply want to stay objective and be kind.

The purchaser has made complaints that are subjective and slanders but really the simple truth is Purchaser is upset because Cabinet Outlet will not provide a full refund for cabinetry that is specific to their home and designed specific to their space.

This issue has nothing to do with goods, quality of goods and Purchaser references subjective complaints. It deals with purchaser requesting a refund and gave reason as "due to COVID-19."

All documents detail material lists, intent, and the relationship is clear. Cabinet Outlet is a reseller of manufactured goods. Purchaser purchased goods, COVID-19 led to purchaser to request refund for purchased goods for reason provided as they do not want anyone in their home.

Cabinet Outlet objective response is the payment and receipt is the signed Purchase Order, Disclosures, and Signed Design along with the customer's check that cleared and they paid. Cabinet Outlet was waiting on homeowner to announce or let Cabinet Outlet know when they wanted delivery as they were having other renovation completed at their home. Instead COVID-19 occured. Purchaser stated "All Renovations" would be put on hold or cancelled at this time due to not wanting anyone in their home. That is the fact which is substantiated.

Thank you and hope that helps explain the circumstances.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There is a list of 9 undisputed facts stated. *** continues to ignore promises given to me and accepts no responsibility beginning with Day 2 of the initial contract. "If" they ordered cabinets the P.O. was never approved, signed, or payment given. If professionally handled the project could have been completed within the first two months.

"Subjective complaints" I have emails and texts that follow the trail beginning with my concerns on Day 2. NEVER were they to announce delivery. Next step was choose style/color and sign P.O. There were NO other renovations other than the kitchen.

"Reasons Provided" Yes, the national shut down has created a financial hardship. Don't have $20k for this renovation. Furthermore, because of Cabinet Outlet employees there have been too many delays and communication has been impossible. I did not plan on a pandemic intruding on our lives as it has and will continue to have for months to come. I wish Cabinet Outlet would take responsibility for their actions throughout this process.

Company has sent appropriate and careful response. Company cares and comments made referencing names. Revdex.com does NOT make judgements or decisions. They try to mediate and work with consumers and businesses alike.

Company immediately provided remedy. 1) Refund of amount less restocking fee 2) Receive cabinetry only by delivery with no install or any other services from Cabinet Outlet (Small balance owed) 3) Pay the 2nd installment and Cabinet Outlet can install cabinetry for homeowner.

This is an erroneous complaint or a complaint made to try to use tactics to receive funds when this could have been handled amicably as the attempt was made already by Company and continues to be.

Company requests that the matter be closed by Revdex.com, as company has provided ample documentation and proof, objectively without subjective remarks. Everything is in writing and the customer continues to provide different comments or reasons that are not solution based, nor are they factual.

Company immediately provided remedy. 1) Refund of amount paid less restocking fee 2) Purchaser may receive cabinetry only by delivery with no install or any other services from Cabinet Outlet (Small balance owed) 3) Purchaser can pay the 2nd installment and Cabinet Outlet can install cabinetry for homeowner.

The reality of the circumstances is purchaser purchased cabinets, signed Purchase Order and Disclosure. Provided payment. Company has been awaiting timeline and date to deliver to install cabinets purchased. 2nd Installment due in order to install. COVID-19 occurs and purchaser requests a full refund plus interest on monies.

The subjective complaints by purchaser, homeowner keeps making remarks of names of people who were not and are not involved directly. No one made any promises that are not in writing. Everything is documented.

Company is a larger company and rarely gets complaints, especially when you look at the volume of customers.

Thank you for your efforts.

No communication and wanting more money to fix their mess up. Fraudulent behavior and do not want to resolve an open project
My wife and I purchased cabinets and Jared was the representative. All was going well until the granite was suppose to be installed. He quoted 68 sq ft for granite then when it was time to install the granite he told us we owed him $2200 extra. Tried to get a better understanding on why and he just gave us the run around. In our contract we already paid for 68 sq ft of granite and come to find out we only need 49 sq ft. He has made up excuse after excuse and says he won't get the granite installed because we need to pay him extra. I spoke directly with the granite company and they confirmed we only need 48 sq ft. Jared has tried to come up with excuse possible to delay this project. I have a wife who is about to give birth and I have a home I still can't move into. I asked him to just refund us our money for the granite and I would get it done by myself. I had my own company quote the granite and it was way less then what he is trying to collect. I think he already spent my money on other things and is only doing this to collect more money for a job that should already be complete. I have no choice but to hire a lawyer to ensure I get my money back or that the job is finished asap. This has gone on long enough and I have spent way to much time out of work trying to connect with Jared to get answers. He said as of today he can't speak with the owner of the company because he needs a day off. This is just another excuse to delay things while he tries to cover his own ***. I want this resolved asap.

Desired Outcome

I want my $5700 that I already paid towards the granite refunded and I will get the granite done by myself because I simply do not trust this company anymore

Cabinet Outlet Response • Mar 04, 2020

This complaint is erroneous. The counters were not only installed, they were installed after the design was changed and the island and counter space was much larger.

Customer was NOT charged extra for 3 extra cabinets at perimeter of cabinetry and 2 extra cabinets at the back side of the island was added.

The customer also asked for crown to the ceiling at time of installation and did not want to pay for that as well. Cabinet Outlet ended up performing the service because the client did NOT want to pay and stated again they did not have the money.

Customer complained and make statements that they did not have any money and were on a strict budget. When the template was done and higher level stone chosen than original quote, customer did not want to spend any extra money.

Cabinet Outlet only charged $500 to customer and took the loss of the additional $2700 required for the additional slab, higher level counters needed. The kitchen came out amazing and the counters have already been installed.

Everything has been done at this kitchen and they received 2 extra accessories, 3 tier crown to the ceiling, and extra was done at time of install.

Good morning ***

Thank you for your assistance this morning. Complaint case # XXXXXXXX has been resolved.

Thanks

poor communication to complete the install of new kitchen cabinets.
I have still have not received a complete correct list of all the cabinets to be installed in my kitchen and bathroom. I've met with Rob C showing him that the original layout did not match the cabinets to be ordered. he assured me that everything was ok and he would e-mail me the updated copies. the cabinets arrived and were not the correct ones and some were missing.the installers came the next day and they were given the wrong print to install them. I had to stop them from putting the island together wrong. this has been going on since 10-10-19. I just want a finished kitchen and bath in a timely fashion. The complaint is erroneous and,as the homeowner admits in the complaint, the homeowner had multiple changes during the install. Changes were made with no additional cost and Homeowner kept requesting free items.

Purchase order, disclosures are signed. Cabinet Outlet cares about all its clients and will make changes of scope of work, design, will add accent pieces, and alter design.

Regarding this installation, all but 2 regular base cabinets had been changed to drawer base cabinets, at no cost, and drawer bases do not require pull out shelves. We explained drawer bases are more money but we normally charge for restock, change outs, and difference of cabinets. 1 Base cabinet is a trash unit so cannot be changed to drawer base.

Customer made changes during install and did not want to pay for any of it. The last change requested was to change a base cabinet for a drawer base. The homeowner threatened to slander if we did not do what they wanted. We delivered a 3 drawer base and were to install it by Wednesday, 12/11/19.

Homeowner filed Revdex.com and said they will remove it once its installed. We told them it does not leave Revdex.com website and they stated this was not true.

The cabinetry was delivered within 21 days, install complete in 3 business days, and installation was completed last week. The homeowner had a walk through and signed off on the install, paid last installment.

After install was complete, customer requested a regular base 18 be switched out to a drawer base 18 instead. Now that the entire install has already been completed.

Complaints affect a team full of great people with families and, although erroneous, still affects us and can affect businesses.

I *** would like to say that the issues we had are being resolved and my kitchen will be done soon. Thank You!!!

From the time we started with them it has been nothing but trouble lies and deceit they promised you everything and produced nothing it's very poorly design kitchen you don't realize it until it's done we have a draw we can't open all the way because it hits the stove if you are over 60 years save yourself some headaches and go someplace else remember we have the money to do this.

Mr..

Your very important to us, as every client is. Comments online or those opinions without merit hurt our team, directly or indirectly our families, and those families the company helps with its givings. The kitchen came out so beautiful. The cost was thousands less!

We have hundreds of clients who purchase from us. Some clients have many requests or want upgrades after the purchase. This may include upgrades, requests for free upgrades, requests for upgrade on furnishings or cabinetry, requests for false doors, requests for changes on site or during install, etc at no additional costs.

Mrs., as you know, had the heavy influence on design. Design and install was changed multiple times, on site. The kitchen is small and we had a 6 inch filler, then the cabinet. Your stove is next to the corner and making the turn, we wanted to use the 6" filler to avoid issues. Your wife wanted a smaller filler to have a larger cabinet next to the filler and we stated that the drawer would not extend to full extension because of the stove handle and the type of stove you had.

As you know the drawers are full extension. Many cabinetry in the market do not have full extension. We explained that the 75-90% extension would be the same as many cabinets on the market for that 1 cabinet. We cannot upload photo here on comment and, if we could, others would see this post by you is really hurtful and careless.

We would like to remedy. We welcome the opportunity. We are commenting with request for conversation via phone and look forward to speaking with you. We live by position of truth.

Just an update on my cabinet outlet .com they have agreed and we have a agreed to settle this problem in the next two weeks they will have somebody here to correct all the problems that we have with the cabinets night night I just wanted to thank the Revdex.com they are a great tool and settling these problems

Stay clear of this outfit. They under estimate, mis-measure, are not educated in designing kitchens, and they will tell you that they don't need to pull permits - FYI - anytime you make modifications to your home, including adding or changing electrical services you need a permit, and that includes plumbing ! They were late to start, contractor showed up and didn't know what to do - he complained the entire time that the kitchen was being demolished and then constantly told us he never got paid or was late in getting paid from this company - the cabinets are a no name brand and they won't tell you where they came from - once they demolished my kitchen they pulled out from the job because we complained and left us with no kitchen and took our unused deposit - we ended up with an amazing kitchen after we had to scramble.....however we found a reputable designer and contractor - stay clear and get a detailed contract and lawyer to go with it - you will need it!

Hi *** Cabinet Outlet did design your kitchen. However, Cabinet Outlet, as you confirmed, did not sell the kitchen cabinetry to you, nor did we deliver cabinetry to you. Cabinet Outlet does not own or perform scope of work with electrical. Cabinet Outlet, from time to time, will decide not to work with clients. You did not want to take out permits and we do not sell MDF or particle board cabinetry. Cabinet Outlet respects you going in a different direction with a different company and you got what you wanted from your friend from the other company. You have not contacted us since and welcome direct contact from you. ~ Cabinet Outlet
