* Hello -- I missed your initial email on the 15th that was requesting my response to the business's response. If I'm able to, I would like to provide the following responses to Complaint #***
* The customer received documentation on the products that were being ordered exactly stating the what was being suppliedThis is not true. I received product information once the items were delivered and we realized that they were not what we were promised. Further, the Quote itself never specified that they were unassembled, particle-board cabinets and we were promised solid, plywood cabinets All the literature and information on the products indicates that they are a RTA product and always have been in years Conestoga has been in businessHad I been made provided with the literature and materials and saw that it was not what I wanted, we would have never ordered it. We were assured time and time again that this was what we wanted and were so pleased that it fell within the project's budget. Some things clearly are too good to be true -- they lied. This is no way to conduct business The real issue is that our customer wanted to save money on the order, which he did by ordering flake board cabinets, to the tune of $ and he told his associates at his company to order a less expensive productWe have no issues purchasing from any of our vendors. It is part of the procurement process to try and negotiate pricing with Vendors so that we can pass those savings on to our Clients. Never did I say or authorize the purchase of a particle board cabinet. I paid them in full when they asked and they didn't deliver the proper product. It is very black and white In addition, the customer is unwilling to stand behind his employees who approved what was ordered as per the instructions they were givenMy employees and I were all shocked at the product and, most importantly, the company's response when they were asked to make good on the order. Further, the employee who recommended them has been doing business with this company for years and has never had this happen to them. It was very unsettling when I updated them on what was going on We are willing to supply wood cabinets at our cost, but the customer wants a free kitchen! I never want anything for free. I would just ask at this point that you pick up your products and refund me my money. This has gone beyond what it should have

All the specifications for our cabinetry are in my web site with links from the home page.If a customer does not research what he or she is purchasing for a large amount of money, who's fault is it?It is difficult to believe that the process of ordering custom cabinetry, which cannot be returned since it was built to the customers specifications, with the customer changing door styles, wood species, and finishes did not understand what he was purchasing. In addition, the customers project manager is the son of a long time Conestoga customer, so how is it that the project manager did not understand what he was purchasing? The products being purchased were reviewed by the project manager, the customers assistant, and the customer himself before the order was placed. The cabinetry could have been assembled weeks ago, and may homeowners and professional's are doing this throughout the USA every day.Once again, the customer told his associates to cut the cost of the job, and this is why the customer has issues with the product HE ordered. We will be more than pleased to provide the wood cabinetry at our cost plus freight to solve this issue
