I recently purchased a vehicle from this business owner . The vehicle I purchased was a 97 Geo tracker, yes it was Old, but the dealer named Jay assured me that this vehicle had less than 8000 original miles on it . "it is like a bran new vehicle", he claimed. Vehicle was hardly ever driven in excellent condition he stated . I flew to Pittsburgh and paid cash for the vehicle . I made it clear to this dealer that I was a single woman and I needed to be able to trust him and needed a road or the vehicle for winter . He assured me that I could not go wrong with this vehicle. When I got the vehicle to Maryland it failed t when I got the vehicle to Maryland it failed two Maryland state inspection places. I called Jay the owner of Elkton the first time that vehicle failed he adamantly stated that they were obviously trying to pull something fast on me . he said he wanted to make some phone calls and would make this right if even if it meant buying the vehicle back from me. I excepted this offer and waited for his return call. One week later and another vehicle inspection failure, I called Jay at Elkton auto again . I had to call again as he never returned my phone calls . His wife Susan raised her voice at me and stated, " these people are trying to hose you !"" There is nothing wrong with that vehicle !" " I'm telling you they are trying to hose you!" I ended the call as I did not want to get into a verbal match with her . Truly believe the only people who "hosed me quote, was Susan and Jay at Elkton auto . Both inspections revealed Extreme rust in the undercarriage and brake lines, which had been recently covered with Rubberized spray paint .

I emailed this place at the beginning of last week about a 2000 Avenger for my 16 year old. I waited two days without a response. I finally called on Wednesday to make them an offer. They wanted $3995 for this car and I offered them $4000 out the door. They agreed. Unfortunately for me I live four hours from this place and tell them I won't be there until Saturday morning. I tell them. They say fine. I leave at 5:00 Saturday morning and get there right at 9:00 to find out the car was sold the day before. No email, no text and no opportunity to make them a better offer. I know it first come first serve in this business but I would've appreciated a little more effort in being informed. All I got was one voicemail to a phone that's voicemail has been on the fritz for weeks. Unfortunately for me it was a wasted day. Unfornately for them the only other car like that in that condition is 400 miles from where I live and I would've gladly gave them $5,000 before tax title had I been informed. My reveiw of this place is seemingly quality automobiles and fair prices but terrible salesmanship.
