Post-sale customer support from "customer care" is not what it needs to be
we needed one small filler to match one of the smaller cabinets but CTG only sells filler pieces in 5' lengths for $75 a piece. It's not economical to buy such a large piece and discard most of it. I called customer care and was rebuffed (that's the only word for it) several times before just giving up. It seems reasonable to me to buy filler in lengths that match the cabinets but CTG wants to gouge and waste.

I wanted to write an addendum to my previous complaint which was several months agoNow I am writing and it's November 15, and I just got off the phone with customer careMy issue has not been resolvedFirst I have not heard from anybody via phone call or e-mail since Sept.(which a phone
call was promised the next day!) So I call today and spoke to customer care concerning some screws that where missing in a base cabinet with three drawersThis time I was told that they are coming from China and they where stopped at customs!!! I asked if they where still making the cabinet in question (if the screws are on backorder and have been since I picked up my cabinets in May)The reply I got was "yes" so I asked if I could have a set of screws from where ever they ship them and the response is "no, because your cabinet was defective"!!!!! Now the holidays are coming up and my kitchen is still not completeSo,so,so frustrating I can't believe that you get no response from anybody not even after my first complaint was madeThey deserve the big fat "F" rating that they haveI would not and have not recommended this company to anybodyI mean this is how you are treated when you spend over dollarsApparently the customer "care" department DON'T CARE!!!!!! Was also promised soft closure for the rest of my cabinets doors(They didn't send enough of them for my order)
SEND ME MY SCREWS AND THE SOFT CLOSURES FOR MY CABINETSIS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR???????????

Review: On February 19, 2016, I purchased a vanity from cabinets to go. I picked the vanity up on March 25, 2016. On March 29, 2016, we installed the vanity. When using the new vanity, we noticed water leaking from the sink. We checked the plumbing, and there was no issue with that. Then we discovered a hairline crack in the back of the sink, which is where the water was leaking from.

I called Cabinets To Go on April 1, 2016 with my issues, and they tried blaming the problem on another company, [redacted]. I called and spoke with a gentleman there and he could not find any of my order or vanity information, so I sent him my invoice and pictures of the product. On Monday, April 2, 2016, I got a response from him: "This Francesca vanity is not from us. I cannot help you. Sorry."

That same day, I called Cabinets to Go customer service and spoke with a Rossalyn, and I sent her all of the requested information. I received a response from her today, "Hello Ms [redacted].

The vanity is not covered under our life time warranty and we will not be able to replace this vanity. "The lifetime warranty excludes all inclusive and mix & match vantities."

Please see the last line on your terms and conditions.

Again I apologize for this inconvenience."

In those same terms and conditions, it states:

Inspection: Cabinets are delivered unassembled. Claims for shortages or damages must be made upon receipt. The buyer is

responsible for final inspection. Concealed damage claims (damage found after unpacking) must be made within 10 days of receipt of

product. Do not install damaged or defective product. Assembly or modification of the products may void claims for damage. To file a

claim please send an email to [redacted] or call [redacted] option 3.

Returns: Returns are permitted within 30 days of receipt of product. The customer will be responsible for all shipping costs associated

with any return, and will be responsible for a 25% restocking fee. Requests for returns must be made within 30 days of receipt of

product. Special Orders, Close-out items, Clearance items, or products sold AS IS may not be returned. To be eligible for a return or

exchange, product must be in its original condition and packing. Installed product may not be exchanged or returned. Shipping and

delivery charges are non-refundable. Additional shipping costs relating to a return or exchange are the responsibility of the buyer.

This was CONCEALED DAMAGE that was not obvious until the product was attached to the plumbing and you could see water dripping from the back of the sink.

I called Rossalyn furious. I picked the vanity up on March 25, installed on March 29, and called Cabinets to go on April 1. Everything occurred within a 7 day time frame, and you're telling me you're not going to correct this issue and that it's 100% ok to sell a damaged product to a customer and not take responsibility for the product because it's excluded under a life time warranty. The product was DEFECTIVE and you were notified and a notable timely manner.

This is absolutely unacceptable, and I plan to notify every social platform and dispute the charges until this issue is resolved.

Review: The issues are too numerous to count!I have been trying to get my back ordered kitchen cabinets for almost three months now. I keep getting misinformation from the Pittsburgh store where the cabinets were ordered. Missed Delivery Dates, Excuses, No Returned Phone Calls etc. After numerous phone calls I finally contacted their Regional Manager. I was promised expedited shipment of my cabinets 6/9/14. As of July 1st I still do not have them.There is no urgency by the company and even after speaking to a Regional Manager the customer service is still strongly lacking. They only communicate when the customer "me" calls them. However whatever information they do give you is always incorrect. Promises are made that are not followed through with. And I am still without my kitchen cabinets after already paying for them in full over 2 months ago!Desired Settlement: I want to receive my product that I paid for.I want a compensation credit for my time, frustration and aggravation.

Review: I ordered cabinets from Cabinets to Go in Monroeville, PA in May, 2013 (over $2,000). At the time, 1 of the items we ordered (dishwasher panel) was on back order, around 30 days we were told. We didn't get the dishwasher panel until late August/early September. In addition to this, when we received the cabinets we went through the boxes as instructed, looking for damage, and found 4 pieces that were damaged and needed replaced. We received the first replacement piece shortly thereafter in good condition. Cabinets to Go has sent me many packages of the wrong replacement pieces for the remaining 3 damaged pieces. Not only was I receiving the wrong pieces over and over again, they kept sending them to my work after telling them several times to send them to my house, not my work place. I had to use 45 minutes of vacation time each time they sent the package to my work, 4 different times! It is getting harder and harder to get in contact with the customer care representative I have been working with, [redacted] ([redacted].[redacted]@cabinetstogo.com ###-###-####). She has told me the cabinets we ordered are discontinued and she is having trouble finding them. I have been waiting since we ordered the cabinets in May to get them and install them. I cannot do that until I get the replacement pieces, which now seems impossible.Desired Settlement: I would like either: 1) The replacement pieces I need WITH compensation for all of the trouble I have had (I just had surgery and at this point even if they give me the pieces tomorrow I can't install them until late May, over a year after I ordered them!). 2) ALL of my money back, no replacement pieces and I keep the cabinets. 3) Brand new cabinets that WE chose at NO additional cost and they can have the others back.

Review: It was hard to pick a complaint type from the list because I have several complaints. I choose product issues but my complaint involves customer service issues, delivery issues. If I would of read the complaints already made against Cabinets to Go I would not have bought from them but that was a mistake on my own part. I ordered around 6,000.00 dollars worth of products in April,2014 some of the cabinets came in within a month, but of those cabinets I had one the wrong size, missing parts and screws, sink base cabinet was cracked. So my experience with customer service (which is in California) and the service out of the [redacted] store began. I had a professional cabinet installer put my cabinets in who was being paid. The backordered products never came in when promised I had to wait for over two months for my butcher block counter top to come in, which the back splash could not be installed, my sink could not be placed. When dealing with the customer service department they would take my information and even take my phone number and say they would call back but never did. When calling the [redacted] store I was told I had to call California customer service. It is so frustrating to say the least. Now its Oct. 11th 2014 and I just got off the phone with customer service again. I am still waiting for screws (that were never in the box) to put together a 24in base cabinet with three drawers. I changed my method of contacting them,I have been dealing with them through e-mail because it seemed that at least I got a response but have not heard anything for almost a month so I called and now they promised to call me on Monday, so we shall see. I asked how the hardware could be back ordered for so long to a company that makes cabinets!! It just don't make sense to me. So my kitchen is still not complete, when I ordered my cabinets in April I never thought my kitchen would still not be complete by Oct. 11, 2014. My kitchen looks good until you come to the cabinet with no drawers! Very disappointed!Desired Settlement: Refund of the extra money I had to pay the person who installed the cabinets because he had to keep coming back which cost me more money!!!! And I want the screws for the base cabinet!!! So my kitchen can be finished. Finally!!!!!
