Review: I have internet and cable through this company. I have had service with them for over 2 years. In that two years either half my channels go in and out or my internet goes in and out. I gave them my credit card number to run my bill each month. My total bill was 77.95. I got a letter last year stating it was going up $1.00 to make it 78.95. Since that time every month they are running my card for anywhere from $88.00 to $165.00 a month, and I do not receive a itemized bill or anything. You can seldomly get them to answer their phone when you contact them and the one time I did get them on the phone all they wanted to say is it was internet overages. There is no way my internet overages are that much. Because my internet is always very slow and is out certain times every day. They have permission to run my credit card for the 78.95 nothing more. Without a bill to explain what I am paying for it should not be legal to just run someone's credit card for whatever amount they decide to run. I am not the only person having these issue's with these people. We live in a small community and they are basically the only source of cable or internet. They promised me 2 years ago if I went with a cable, internet, telephone bundle which was the 77.95 at the time that would be including telephone. It has been over 2 years and still no telephone. The gentleman whom put my service in also stated they would be redoing the lines here because they are so old. As to date no new lines. The service is not as efficient as they proclaimed it to be and now they are just charging people whatever they want to and without a bill to show what they are charging these high amounts for. I have started keeping records of how much my internet is out, and how many and what channels are out, as well as days and times of the internet running slow. The fact that you cannot even call to discuss issue's with them because they never answer the phone is another problem. Every month I am overcharged without receiving a bill and I cannot even get someone on the phone to discuss it. All you get is a voicemail. I have called numerous times and left voicemails concerning my internet being out and never received a phone call back. But now for the past 6 months my bill is some times being doubled and without explanation and that is not acceptable. From this moment on I am demanding that only 78.95 be put on my credit card every month and anything over that I need a itemized bill showing what charges are for, because as I stated some channels are out on a daily basis, as well as internet kicking on and off or running very slow and this becoming more than an issue now. They have made the people in our community promises as I stated about their services and as to date they are not as promised. They are getting worse and the customer service is probably the poorest I have ever endured.Desired Settlement: From this moment on I am demanding that only 78.95 be put on my credit card every month and anything over that I need a itemized bill showing what charges are for, because as I stated some channels are out on a daily basis, as well as internet kicking on and off or running very slow and this becoming more than an issue now. They have made the people in our community promises as I stated about their services and as to date they are not as promised. I made a large investment in that community to provide High Speed Internet and Cable Tv services if the customer is not happy I can discontinue there service asap and issue credit and they can find service elsewhere ..Thanks, David

Review: The problem spans a period of years. We pay for 3 Mbps internet service but the internet is constantly running at a extreme low speed (examples that i've taken pics of 0.13, 0.15, 0.74, 0.44, etc. etc) I can understand that it won't always be at 3 Mbps, but this is ridiculous. Now it's not always like this sometimes we even get lucky with it running for a couple weeks no problem, but alot of the time it stays at a extreme low for long periods of time (been under .30 mbps for the last week straight) We've called and asked them to fix this on a multiple times over the years and they only will reset the modem (even tho we advise that doesn't fix it) they've stated multiple times that there may be noise or issue's with the cable and that they would get someone out, but nobody has ever came. They also always hid behind the fact that there plenty of usage, and as we've explained two of us here are disabled and hard for us to get out. So not much else we can do but try to game and stream. They also state that we go over in data limit, but that boils down to the fact that with data so slow constantly getting booted out of streams and having to rebuffer the video or out of games and having to reload game. Finally yesterday after years of poor and no where near data speed that we pay, for paying for overages because of everything constantly having to reload, and never getting anywhere with them with troubleshooting beyond modem getting reset I called and left them a message (you have to leave a voicemail for their customer service to call you back) I called letting them know that the internet needed fixed that this is a constant ongoing problem and at this point if it not resolved I was going to file a Revdex.com report. Well that responded in a call back today by the owner yelling at me that I just need to go to another service (which isn't any that i've found outside of satellite) I advise we just want this fixed. That I don't want to have to go Revdex.com route. He goes on saying he going to disconnect the service nobody going to threaten him with Revdex.com he got reports of the usage (which as I stated we still use it through much frustration) also stated that there no body else has problems up here (i have a lot of family up here and they also have issues). Altogether he was outright rude and as I kept reiterating with him I don't want service disconnected, I don't want credit for last month, and I don't want to file Revdex.com report I just want working internet that's at least close to the speed we pay for.Desired Settlement: I just want them to come find out what's wrong with the internet here and fix it. It's doesn't have to be at the max I don't expect that. Just I can't take weeks at a time of the speed being below 1 Mbps. That's all I want.

I have discussed this issue with the customer and we have been out on three occasions and ran reports from BBX the company that provisions service for Cable Plus and we have found no problems . I had offered to provide the report to them and have explained to her son because he Games online we might not be able to provide the type service he needs..I have offered them a refund and they can get services somewhere else..Thanks, David Eaton President Cable Plus Inc

This isn't a issue of games! This is a issue of it taking 15 mins to pull up a sales paper. Being unable to pay my online bills due to speeds so slow that page never fully loads. Internet running so slowly that my meds can't be ordered till whenever Internet is running well (all this on a new computer). Even down to phone isn't even able to load email. That's what the issue is got nothing to do with games! There times when it's fine but majority of the time it's not. Especially when it's raining snowing or windy. As far as people being out the last time anyone was actually here was when they replaced the modem 2 yrs ago, and that tech even made mention to me that the wiring and box outside looked bad and would probably need replaced. After that they never would send anyone up. Even though I feel that's the problem. Also now we no longer even have internet, because in retaliation to us making a Revdex.com report he has disconnected my service, and he done so without ever talking to me the owner of the account.

The reports have been printed on usage and also reports of how many times we have serviced the account and I had informed them another service might meet there needs .. Usage and reports will show that our services have worked fine in that area.. Also they still had a $ 30.00 bill and I have waived that..Thanks, David Eaton

We're not worried about the billing and never have been. We've never even been late. As stated before yes there is usage. Usage is not what we are talking about here. What we're talking about is data speed constantly running less then 0.30 mbps for weeks straight. That means it still runs but so unbearably slow! Now if it was just a once in awhile that's one thing but constantly weeks straight that's not service. As we speak right now I'm in my room picking up 1 bar of signal from my sister router (that's 2 acre's away) which is also cable plus and it's running better then what it does here half the time! As far as my complaint being resolved, not even close. In fact it's worse now due to the fact instead of fixing the issue Cable Plus has decided that they rather turn off the service then fix it. I have a son who's autistic that relies on computer for learning purpose, and now he unable to do so because there no other isp that not dial up or satellite up here. My other son has talked to one of his friends that works for a internet company in another town. He came up and looked at the cable and stated that definitely the issue. He even said if Cable Plus would turn back on the internet he would fix it for us himself. We need working internet up here. Please turn back on our service and if you would give us the permission we can have him come up and fix the issue with the wiring going into the house.

We're not talking about a line up at the road. We're speaking of a cable that goes from the road into a box in the side of the house etc being messed up. So of course nobody else would be running off that.
