Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I started to see Cache Valley Chiropractic in August 2016, when I had stopped seeing them in October because I was not getting better; I started treatment at Logan Physical therapy in November and ended in January Logan Physical therapy requested a referral letter that I needed therapySo Cache valley Chiropractic had provided for that in November, so they knew I was getting treatment elsewhereI had closed my claim sometime in the beginning of January with the insurance company of the other driver that hit me on March 15th When I had got the First letter Cache Valley Chiropractic had sent in February I was not able to get a hold of the clinic because they were only open from 8am to 5pm as I worked from 8-5pm as well.(that I had told them) When the second letter came at the beginning of March I decided to talk with the doc about the bill whom answered the phone after hours for emergency use only and he told me he could not help me that I would have to talk to his secretary during business hours A few business days later I called on my brake at work and talked to the secretary about the bill and I told her I could make paymentsShe asked why I couldn’t pay the whole amountI said because the insurance company didn't specify what was going to the clinic and that I thought that the Insurance Company was paying them directlyI have never done this before with insurance So they said I could make payments and asked for $and I said $and then she asked If I could do $so I told her I probably could but I would have to get back to her after I made some calculations for that amount with my other billsSo when I called back on my brake again I told her I could do the $monthly(I couldn't have my phone at work and so it was hard to communicate during business hours only by phone so I don't know why we couldn’t communicate over email) When making the date for the 15th of every month the secretary wanted money right away sense it was the 14th of March that we were making the payment arrangementI told her I couldn't do it for March 15th as it was one day later and so she was reluctant about me paying in March but wanted it to be the same date every month as wellSo I told her well I can only pay it by the 15th and not the 1stI don’t understand why the secretary was being pretty rude to me about the due dateBut nobody screamed at anybody when setting the payment arrangement like the doc mentioned in his response. So after I got the letter that it was sent to collections the second week of April I called and the doc answered and I had never spoken with him about the bill arrangement and when I asked about it and that there was a mistake he told me he does not handle the bills and couldn't help me and he said he "didn't know what verbal agreement I had made with the secretary." (As you can see the frustration of why they didn't have me sign anything for it to be worthy of being sent to collections and it was her word against mine.) So I called back when the secretary was there and I asked her why she had the 1st as my due date as I told her I said the 15th and reminded the secretary of our conversation because she told me out of her own mouth "if the 15th lands on a Saturday then I need to pay the 14th of the Friday before." She said she didn't remember what was said that she has it written down somewhere as the 1st and I told her that I wish I would have signed a paper of the payment arrangement date, as it was unprofessional for a business to not do that and then end up sending the bill to collections without prove of my agreed due date and that it was not my fault the date was wrong on her end She said she would talk to the collection agency, which she did and called me back and leaving a message stating that everything was okay and that my bill is not to be paid at the collection agencyI still have the message the secretary left to prove that she said thatSo I had made by first payment to the clinic on April 14th and I had asked the clinic for a receipt and she emailed me a letter stating I had paidYou can see now that I am right and that the clinic is not properly documenting thingsIt was not days from when I settled my claim to when I contacted the clinic it was a month and a half starting from middle of January to the 1st of March and I did make my first payment for when I was told was okay to pay by April 15thSo as you can see why I would be upset with a fee of $because of my bill in collectionsI am sorry it took a month and a half to contact you because of our hours of my job and you're business being the sameI did not violate the daysI did not violate the payment arrangement for the 15th of every monthThe $can be deducted from the amount because my 1st payment was not late but on time as agreedYou can work something out with the collection agency as well because I have proven that the collection agency bill is going to be discarded, said as a message saved in my voice mail stating the fact from the clinicI know HIPPA guide lines and if I give consent to have another person help me with this problem It is allowed. Some time has passed and the collection agency has my bill with a fee still (not like what was told to me by the Cache Valley Chiropractic) and the agency are not willing to listen to what Cache Valley Chiropractic had said and done regarding my bill due dateI have last tried to reason with the clinic based off of a she said she saidI have been treated completely un-fairly and have been accused falsely which is clearly Cache Valley Chiropractic mistake and miss documentation on their part[I have attached the dispute letter I sent to the collection agency.] Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I started to see Cache Valley Chiropractic in August 2016, when I had stopped seeing them in October 2016 because I was not getting better; I started treatment at Logan Physical therapy in November 2016 and ended in January 2017. Logan Physical therapy requested a referral letter that I needed therapy. So Cache valley Chiropractic had provided for that in November, so they knew I was getting treatment elsewhere. I had closed my claim sometime in the beginning of January 2017 with the insurance company of the other driver that hit me on March 15th 2016. When I had got the First letter Cache Valley Chiropractic had sent in February I was not able to get a hold of the clinic because they were only open from 8am to 5pm as I worked from 8-5pm as well.(that I had told them) When the second letter came at the beginning of March I decided to talk with the doc about the bill whom answered the phone after hours for emergency use only and he told me he could not help me that I would have to talk to his secretary during business hours.  A few business days later I called on my brake at work and talked to the secretary about the bill and I told her I could make payments. She asked why I couldn’t pay the whole amount. I said because the insurance company didn't specify what was going to the clinic and that I thought that the Insurance Company was paying them directly. I have never done this before with insurance.  So they  said I could make payments and asked for $300 and I said $150 and then she asked If I could do $200 so I told her I probably could but I would have to get back to her after I made some calculations for that amount with my other bills. So when I called back on my brake again I told her I could do the $200 monthly. (I couldn't have my phone at work and so it was hard to communicate during business hours only by phone so I don't know why we couldn’t communicate over email) When making the date for the 15th of every month the secretary wanted money right away sense it was the 14th of March that we were making the payment arrangement. I told her I couldn't do it for March 15th as it was one day later and so she was reluctant about me paying in March but wanted it to be the same date every month as well. So I told her well I can only pay it by the 15th and not the 1st. I don’t understand why the secretary was being pretty rude to me about the due date. But nobody screamed at anybody when setting the payment arrangement like the doc mentioned in his response. So after I got the letter that it was sent to collections the second week of April I called and the doc answered and I had never spoken with him about the bill arrangement and when I asked about it and that there was a mistake he told me he does not handle the bills and couldn't help me and he said he "didn't know what verbal agreement I had made with the secretary." (As you can see the frustration of why they didn't have me sign anything for it to be worthy of being sent to collections and it was her word against mine.)  So I called back when the secretary was there and I asked her why she had the 1st as my due date as I told her I said the 15th and reminded the secretary of our conversation because she told me out of her own mouth "if the 15th lands on a Saturday then I need to pay the 14th of the Friday before." She said she didn't remember what was said that she has it written down somewhere as the 1st and I told her that I wish I would have signed a paper of the payment arrangement date, as it was unprofessional for a business to not do that and then end up sending the bill to collections without prove of my agreed due date and that it was not my fault the date was wrong on her end.  She said she would talk to the collection agency, which she did and called me back and leaving a message stating that everything was okay and that my bill is not to be paid at the collection agency. I still have the message the secretary left to prove that she said that. So I had made by first payment to the clinic on April 14th and I had asked the clinic for a receipt and she emailed me a letter stating I had paid. You can see now that I am right and that the clinic is not properly documenting things. It was not 90 days from when I settled my claim to when I contacted the clinic it was a month and a half starting from middle of January to the 1st of March and I did make my first payment for when I was told was okay to pay by April 15th. So as you can see why I would be upset with a fee of $800 because of my bill in collections. I am sorry it took a month and a half to contact you because of our hours of my job and you're business being the same. I did not violate the 90 days. I did not violate the payment arrangement for the 15th of every month. The $800 can be deducted from the amount because my 1st payment was not late but on time as agreed. You can work something out with the collection agency as well because I have proven that the collection agency bill is going to be discarded, said as a message saved in my voice mail stating the fact from the clinic. I know HIPPA guide lines and if I give consent to have another person help me with this problem It is allowed. Some time has passed and the collection agency has my bill with a fee still (not like what was told to me by the Cache Valley Chiropractic) and the agency are not willing to listen to what Cache Valley Chiropractic had said and done regarding my bill due date. I have last tried to reason with the clinic based off of a she said she said. I have been treated completely un-fairly and have been accused falsely which is clearly Cache Valley Chiropractic mistake and miss documentation on their part. [I have attached the dispute letter I sent to the collection agency.]
Sincerely,
