I received my order confirmation on 4/13/2015 for a Brill Razorcut 33 Push Reel Mower with Free 7 day ground shipping. On 4/22/2015, I asked for tracking information. The reply I received stated the Brill 33 was on back-order. They also stated I was notified of this product being unavailable. They stated that I was offered a free upgrade. However, I hadn't received any messages from them, even after checking my Junk folder. This was a clear lie. However, I asked for the free upgrade to a Brill 38. My request was received and confirmed on 4/22/2015. Also, on 4/22/2015, I sent an email to customer service stating I had read about their "F" rating on the Revdex.com due to delivery issues. I asked them, "Are we going to have problems regarding shipping?" I also left my phone number. Every time I call their number, I get no answer. Even though I asked them to call me, nobody ever did. On 4/23/2015, I received the following message: "We will send notification over to the shipper and the 38 will be shipped. The 38s are in stock and ready for shipment." I asked for tracking info and they replied to me, on 4/23/2015, "Your shipping order for the Brill 38 has been processed. We should get the tracking late today or by mid-day tomorrow." On 4/27/2015, I sent an email stating I was still waiting on my tracking information. I didn't receive a reply until 4/29/2015, which was the following: "We have again followed up with the distributor to get the tracking number. We have told them that we need that tracking number today or the order will be canceled. We do apologize for this delay. Orders are usually handled better. You can expect to receive notification by the end of business today."
On 4/30/2015, I received an email from GLE with a FedEx tracking number, stating the product was shipped on 4/29/2015. This tracking number didn't work. On 5/2/2015, I received an email from GLE providing a UPS tracking number, stating the product was shipped on 4/30/2015. Also on 5/2/2015, GLE emailed me the following message: "The shipper has provided an updated tracking number that should have come to your email. Your order is due to arrive this coming Monday. Let us know if you have any further questions."
The item was delivered on Monday, which was 5/4/2015. So, I ordered this product on 4/13/2015 with free 7-day shipping, but it took 21 days to receive. Even on 4/23/2015 when GLE told me they had upgraded me, it was still another 11 days after that!
The product is AMAZING, but GLE is terrible!
Why was this product listed as "In-Stock" in the first place?
