Detailed Interiors did a major kitchen remodel for us this summer, which turned out great! The project included removing a structural wall between the kitchen and living room; moving all appliances to new locations; and moving the pantry under the stairs to expand our functional space Steve took his time to listen to what we wanted with the remodel He created a design that met our needs, but was also open to changes we wanted to make We went over budget, but that was due to changes we made, such as going with a 36" Thermador Pro duel fuel range Steve was great to work with and had very open and regular communication with us There were very few surprises that popped up (all out of his control) With the few that did, he explained our options and made his recommendation Steve was always at our house when work was being done by the subcontractors and self-performed much of it himself Our kitchen is much more functional and aesthetically appealing than it was before! Would definitely recommend him for home remodeling projects!

I used Detailed Interiors for a large scale kitchen remodel The remodel included new hardwoods throughout the main floor of the house, removal of a wall between kitchen and dining room, and complete reconfiguration of the current kitchen layout
The end results were well beyond my expectations *** *** was my primary contractor throughout the entire process *** is the most dependable, hardest working contractor I have ever had the pleasure of working with From the very beginning his follow-through was impeccable He responds to e-mails/phone calls quickly, and he walks his clients through the process entirely For example, I needed to make a large number of product selections during the remodel *** would not only provide me great contact information, but would also reach out to his business partners, letting them know I was coming, follon order status, etc
In addition, *** provides his clients a detailed calendar showing the dates he will be working and when the remodel will be complete It made it so much easier knowing what would happen each day and how long the project would take *** stuck to his schedule throughout the five week project without ever missing a beat
Most importantly, ***'s work product was fantastic Down to the very last detail, everything was done with the upmost care I highly recommend *** and Detailed Interiors for any remodel project

Review: On Saturday 09/**/13 at 2 pm I had an appointment at the [redacted] location of Cactus Salon with [redacted]. When I called to make the appointment, I asked for a senior colorist because I wanted to make sure my hair would be in well trained hands. I was told [redacted] was a senior stylist and she actually was taught others how to do hair, and that she was amazing! I agreed to see her and felt comfortable with her doing my hair. When I arrived, I sat at [redacted]'s station and showed her a picture of what I was looking for. She told me it would not be as light as the picture but it would come close to it and that I would walk out that day as a blonde! Mind you, I have dark brown hair. She started the process by putting many foils in my hair and applying bleach three times to my hair. She asked me questions like, how do I style my hair. I told her I liked to wear it straight everyday. She sat me under the dryer for about 10-15 minutes, then I was taken to get my hair washed. I sat in the sink for about 20 minutes after she washed out the bleach and I was told she was putting toner in my hair. I was then taking to get my hair blow dried. I noticed my hair was nothing close to what it should have been and there were 3-4 different colors in my hair! I do have pictures as proof! In the middle of blow drying, she asked me if she could curl it and I said, "yes". When I was finished, I was in shock and completely dissapointed. I was angry and upset. I went to the front desk to pay and they charged me $310.00 plus a tip to the shampoo girl and in total I payed 350 for a horrible hair job! I then went home and my mother looked at the back of my hair, the part I couldn't see myself. My mother and family couldn't believe what she did to my hair! There was no way I could go another day with my hair looking like this! I had an event to attend that night and I couldn't go because of how I looked! I was upset crying and embarrassed! If the woman didn't know how to do the job she should have been honest with me, but she acted like it was no problem and then ruined my hair!Desired Settlement: I would like my money back for my expenses at this salon. These expenses cover the charge plus the tip I left for the stylist and money to repair the damage to my hair.
