Review: My sister and I had purchased a 2002 Pontiac grand am from this business. Prior to purchasing we had looked over the vehicle inspection window sticker. All that was listed as not working was "power mirrors inop". We were OK with that being the only thing marked as being an issue. The owner of of the dealership come out to talk to us and he looked us both in the eye and stated " this is by far one nice car, no rust on it, and the transmission has been replaced, so it doesn't have the high miles on it, you ladies will love it" I had asked him if he could tell me about any other work that has been completed on this vehicle, or if it had been in any collisions. At that point he could not. He told us that he had no record of anything being wrong or replaced on it. After purchasing this vehicle, I had taken it to get it inspected by another company. This is where we found out what was actually wrong with it. First off, it needed at battery, as this one was completely dead after just one day of taking it home. The alignment was so far off that it needed to be corrected or it was going to ruin the tires. The rocker panels were rusted out, and the rear struts were bad. Those were making so much noise after I went over a small bump. I called the dealership up and I talked to them about the repairs needing to be done. When the lady had called me back, she told me "well I went to go talk to the mechanic about doing the struts and he just laughed and was like " well why would she want to replace those for?", and she was laughing as she was telling me this. I stopped her by saying, "because they are bad, they need to be replaced". Then she got real quiet and then went on to tell me how much it would cost. I had discussed it with my sister, and she was going to have them replace them. The next day I was having problems with the car starting, and it had stalled out in a parking lot and I had to have it towed to a shop. I had went in to talk to the dealership about these problems and she told told me that I would have to bring this vehicle in to have them look at it. I had explained to her for a second time that it had stalled and was currently at another shop because it would not start. Well we finally got it to start, so my mom and I took it back to them to look at. I had also discussed the other problems that I was having with them. They had offered to fix the problems at half cost. I had asked them if they had actually did a full inspection on this vehicle, they both stated by saying yes. I had also asked him " so if you do an inspection and tou find something wring, you write it on the window sticker, correct?" He had simply stated "yes" So I had asked them " so if you do a full inspection you would have known that the AC compressor is going out and not going to last much longer (which I had found out from that other shop), the rear struts are bad, they are making so much noise, and the rocker panels are all rusted out." He had looked at me and said "I have no idea what problems you are talking about" I had refreshed his memory by telling him he looked us right in the eye and told us "no rust". So finally I had enough of them lying to us, and I simply said " how about you just give us back the money for the car and you can have the car back?" He looked me right in the eye and said "no refunds!" So I asked him why I should be putting more money into a vehicle that they didn't even inspect. And he said well we will repair it all. Mom had asked him "and what are you going to charge her?" He stated "there will be no cost." So we left the car with them and they called me two days later to let me know that the car was finished.while we were waiting for their call, I had gone thru all of the paperwork that was signed on the purchasing day, and no where does it state "no refunds" I had also found the "reasonable care standard" that they are suppose to go by. It stated that they were to lift the vehicle and inspect for any corrective welds, damages, and or weaknesses caused by rust. Which they had failed to report on. So when I had received their call, I asked then what was all done to it. He said that they had replaced the AC compressor, and the cam sensor, which was causing it to not start. I asked him about the struts and he said they did not find anything wrong with them. So I asked him of we still have problems if I could bring it back, and he said well of course. I had picked up thw car and took it right back to the other company and had them relook at the struts. This dealership did not do a single thing with the struts. So I took it back and I had a friend of mine (a mechanic) come with and he had showed this dealership that they need to be replaced. They looked at us and said "well I don't know how we missed that". So the owner said they would put new rear struts in it. He had called me yesterday 3/24/16 letting me know that the car was finished. I had replied, ok well I will pick it up after I'm done with work. And I had also requested a copy of everything that was completed in this car. At the bottom of the copy of the work that was completed, was a total for the used struts to be replaced. I was not happy, as he had stated in our conversation before " there will be no cost"Desired Settlement: The dealership should have done a complete inspection, for the safety of the public, before selling a vehicle, and not lying to the consumer. Also they should not have charged for repairing the items that were discussed and agreed upon. Or they could have just taken the car back in exchange for the price of the car.

Response:

We fixed everything she complained about without charging her even when she had a "parts at cost and labor at 50%" service agreement.

Review: My wife and I leased Our 2003 Chevy Venture Minivan Back in October of 2014. At the time , the dealer told us that it would only take about 4 weeks or so for our license plates to arrive. So she issued a temporary license plate was to expire in January of 2015. January came and we still had not received our plates. So My wife [redacted] ,called in January and explained to the dealer [redacted], what I just mentioned in the first part of this explanation. [redacted] said that she would check into it and get back to us. We heard nothing so my wife called again and [redacted] said that she never actually sent for them because she left the info on her desk and misplaced it. Then she sent us another temp in the mail that is to expire in April, and had told us the same as before , that it will take 4 weeks or so for The License plates to arrive. We said ok. So we waited , and waited and waited, and nothing has shown up. So I called the dealership back on Thursday of last week , which was 3/5/15 and [redacted] had said that she again would look into it. In the mean time I contacted The Wisconsin DMV via email and explained my situation and asked for them to check on it. Today 3/11/15. I got a response from the Wisconsin DMV via

email and they said that the request hasn't even been sent in our vehicle and that we should contact the dealer and ask for a Wi application . I'll include a copy of that email with this complaint. So I called the dealership again today and The women who answered said that [redacted] wasn't there and that she would have [redacted] call Me Tomorrow,But It actually sounded like [redacted] on the phone softening her Voice. I said well ok then That's fine. Thank you. I was being nice about it as I always try to be so I can better resolve my situations. Then After the call my wife and I talked about it and I talked to My mom about it. And we decided that this has gone on long enough. So I called the dealership back And told the lady that we've waited for almost 6 months we had contacted the DMV And was told to ask for the WI application, and to have [redacted] call me ASAP . The Lady who answered said that

she doesn't know and [redacted]'s mom is getting surgery . I repeated just have her call me . about 30 minutes later [redacted] called and said that she was told to call us back. I explained it's been to long and That she said that would look into it and we need our plated now and that We contacted the DMV about it and they said that The Application hasn't even been processed /. . Then [redacted] went on to give me every excuse that she's been busy, she forgot them her mother is having surgery and She's sorry and and that she'll get on it as soon as she gets to the dealer place and added up the days and said that we should get the title by Next Tuesday cause they only print them on Tuesday and Saturdays which makes no sense at all. I went on to say that Or she could just send me the WI App and I would do it myself. She said no That she would take care of it. But shes also been saying that for almost 6 months now and she said shes been outta town but Remember I mention that I had called her On 3/5/15.

Something needs be done. We're worried about how many other people she is doing this to. The point is that She never even sent for them the first time And By the way she sounded she didn't even send for them yet either . Because She said she'd get right on it when she got to the dealership. Which usually means if you have to get on it when you get there then obviously you never even started . She also admitted that She knows its been a really long time.Desired Settlement: It would be nice to have the dealer Complete Getting the License plate And Then Refund us The $ 100 or 154 i'm not sure how much She charged us for her to file them back in October of 2014. but we will settle for $100 even
