Review: I have frequently Cahra Salon many times and was always happy with the service. About 3 1/2 years ago, my family and friends purchased me a $150 Cahra giftcard. I moved shortly thereafter and misplaced the card. A few months ago I discovered the card and called Cahra to book an appointment. They told me the card was no longer valid. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I would receive a call back. This continued for 7 more instances and I NEVER received any calls back. On January 19th, I sent an email to [redacted], the owner. He has also NEVER responded. According to the receptionists who keep answering my calls, the gift card expires in one year and there is nothing they can do about it. I explained that if this were a coupon of some sort, I would understand, but money was given to Cahra and NO SERVICES WERE RENDERED. They essentially made a free $150 at my expense. I also referenced some laws regarding gift card expirations and according to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), Maryland law states "Md. Commercial Code Ann. 14-1319A person may not sell or issue a gift certificate that, within four years after the date of purchase, is subject to expiration or a fee or charge of any kind." I am only asking that this gift card be honored. It's a shame that my previous wonderful thoughts towards Cahra Salon have now completly dissipated.Desired Settlement: I just want the gift card honored for use.

I am rejecting this response because: No concessions are being made. The company has taken money from us in exchange for NOTHING. No services have been rendered. I am not asking for money, I am just asking the gift card be honored. I also find it ridiculous that after numerous messages via phone AND email, the vendor/owner didnt even have the decency to return the call.
