Sent them the divorce paperwork February 4th. My divorce was granted February 26th and received email March 2nd and received the certified copy priority mail March 4th. Very very happy. They answered my emails within a good time period.

Incredibly easy, and very reasonable. I am currently located out of state and thought I would have an impossible time getting divorced in PA, but Cairns Law Offices made the process seamless. As long as you follow the directions exactly as they're given, you will save yourself a lot of precious time and money. I opted for the "FAST" option which carries a 8-12 week window; my decree came in just a little over 4 weeks! While I can't speak for anyone else's situation; I am extremely satisfied with their work and would highly recommend their services.

I was very please with Cairns Law offices. I looked round at several different lawyers and I couldn't afford it. When I found Cairns online I was skeptical, after I read some of the reviews from other clients and I decided to just go for it. The paperwork was easy and it gave me specific information on how to file. They communicated by email through the waiting period.

Advertised 8-12 week divorce. Paid complete balance up front on March 31, 2018. Divorce filing date listed as April 05, 2018. Twelve weeks ended in June, 2018; coincidentally around the same time the defendant actually received the divorce papers (we are estranged, but communicate as needed). All necessary forms completed and returned within the required six month time frame (September, 2018). This left more than 30 days before time ran out of the six month window. However, on October 30, 2018, I received an email requesting an affidavit of non military service to be signed by me (plaintiff) affirming that the spouse (the defendant) is not currently serving in the military. First of all, this form (SCRA) is not required when all parties are compliant and responsive in divorce proceedings. Secondly, service was perfected-the defendant was not asked if he was in military service when he signed the divorce papers in the presence of a notary. Lastly, their email is asking for additional monies to proceed with this divorce action, in addition to fees that will be accrued if clients contact the office by phone with any questions. This is absurd. I paid for a service, now seven months later, they are asking for more money to complete it.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with my service. I really try to provide the best service I can, along with simple steps so you can complete your divorce hassle-free in this stressful time of your life.
You paid in full on 3/30/18 (not 3/31/18) for the Fast Divorce Service, which takes 8-12 weeks. I then filed your case on 4/5/18 and emailed your instructions and documents for signature on 4/11/18. On 7/12/18, I emailed you a reminder to mail your signed documents to me as soon as possible in order to avoid any additional fees. I also re-emailed your instructions and documents to you twice in July. You then mailed incomplete documents to me on 9/28/18. So, on 9/28/18, I emailed you the affidavit of nonmilitary service and asked you to sign and mail it to me along with a $35 correction fee (I have to charge a fee for the extra time and work involved in correcting your mistake). I also emailed you that you needed to mail it back to me soon in order to avoid a $50 case extension fee (a case extension fee is due if you have not mailed all divorce documents to me within 6 months of the initial case filing date of 4/5/18)).
I always let you and all of my clients know about any fees in advance- in the Client Services Agreement, in your instructions, and in emails (I have a record of 37 emails with you).
Your instructions gave you two steps to follow. Unfortunately, you did not follow step 1, which instructed you to sign the affidavit of nonmilitary service, or step 2, which instructed you to mail the affidavit of nonmilitary service to us. The affidavit of nonmilitary service is to be signed by you (not your spouse) and is required by law by Pa Code, Rule 1920.46. I’ve emailed your instructions and affidavit of nonmilitary service several times at this point, along with simple, detailed instructions so you can finish your case.
You recently emailed me that you were out of the area and would take care of this, but you still have not mailed me the signed affidavit of nonmilitary service. Since it has now been over 6 months from the time I filed your case with the court, you owe a $50 case extension fee, which covers the extra work that your delays have caused. So at this point, you owe a total of $85 (a $35 correction fee, plus a $50 case extension fee), and you need to sign and mail me the affidavit of nonmilitary service, as instructed. Once you do so, I can finish your case.
As per the Client Services Agreement, I’m happy to talk with you on the phone for a fee of $35. I’ve completed well over 10,000 divorces. I think I’ve had about 10 clients pay the $35 phone fee since it would seem that the other 10,000 would rather save the money and email me. Emails are always free. If I were to charge for emails like most attorneys do, your fees would be much, much higher. I really do try to keep your costs as low as possible.
Again, I know you’re frustrated. I went through a divorce of my own and understand the stress of it. That’s why I started this business. I always want to make things as fast, easy, and as cheap as I can while still providing excellent service to my clients. The last thing I want to do is to add to your burden. That said, I can’t do it by myself. I really need you to follow the instructions that I’ve given you so I can finish your case. I’m sorry that you decided that you needed to file a complaint with the Revdex.com instead of coming to me directly with your complaints, but I hope that I’ve helped to shed light on the situation and look forward to helping you move forward when you are ready.

Responded to my questions right away. I filed in September of 2018. I paid for a 13-14 week divorce. I was divorced by October 22nd 2018. I couldn't be more satisfied with how they did business
