Mr, [redacted] brought his 2005 Toyota 4.Runner in and said h needs a new muffler. Upon the technicians inspection the muffler and existing pipe had holes in them. The technician showed Mr. [redacted] where the exhaust was leaking from.
Fair Muffler gave...
Mr. [redacted] the price and told him if he wanted to get his own exhaust it would cut the cost down. Mr, [redacted] called back to Fair Muffler and told them to go and order the exhaust.
The exhaust was put on Mr. [redacted], 2005 Toyota 4 Runner...
Mr. [redacted] came back a few days later, saying he was hearing the same noise,
Mr. [redacted], talked with the General Manager and was told that the noise he was hearing Would have to get worse to determine for sure what it was.
Mrs. [redacted] called in and talked with the Secretary had agreed that her husband would Bring the vehicle back in and leave it so we could have for the day.
Neither Mr. nor Mrs. [redacted] has called to schedule an appointment with Fair Muffler. Mr. [redacted] told the technician that it was exhaust and that is where Fair Muffler started at, and Mr. [redacted] seen the holes in the exhaust.
There are multiple skid plates and heat shields that could be causing the issue, and the Vehicle has over [redacted] Miles on it

They work was miss diagnosed therefore we decided not to go any further with Fair Muffler.I will not nor afford the time and cost it could take to take off piece's of my trucks underbody to find where the noise is coming from. Again had they told before the part was even ordered that this would be a start to finding a solution to the problem I would of went elsewhere. I came to Fair Muffler to get my truck noise fixed, not to halfway fixed. I only agreed to the part being ordered and put on because the tech who showed me where the holes were that that was what I was hearing and by replacing it the noise would stop and it has not. All I'm asking for and the only thing that would satisfy me is a refund so I can take my truck to a professional shop, that will fix it right the first time.
