The owner is taking people's money and not delivering what was promised. There is several incidents of this person taking money to deliver baked goods and not delivering on the order and not giving a refund of 350.00 or in another incident-took money that was suppose to be for flowers for a child's passing and instead donated elsewhere. I can also say her work is not good. Baked goods are no good. If someone thinks her work is good please go *** cakes are better and cheaper.
Donating baked goods to nurses during covid 19 in order to get publicity
How about doing the jobs you were paid to so like the nurse you ripped off
Nurses are getting up everyday and going to work facing covid19 and helping people- but thus person feels no shame in ripping off a nurse a childs greasing family among ther people.

and I are both cottage bakery owners in the Roseville area.

I had a recent family emergency that left me unable to complete an order for a customer.
Since I had to cancel so close to my customer's order date, I attempted to completely transfer the order over, including all of the details and a $200 payment from my customer.

After the payment was completed, my customer informed me that she had booked with an entirely different baker of her choice. I sent her the $200 that she had paid me, since she had no intention to use ***'s services.
I informed *** of the cancellation and asked her to send me the money back.

The transaction occurred on 6/16/2018 and as of today, 7/12/2018, *** has not refunded me the money, nor has she provided me with any proof that she has been in contact with *** regarding our matter. She sent me a handful of screenshots, but none had any indications of being related to our case (for example: on one, the transaction ID did not match mine. On another, it was simply a message that could have been regarding any matter).

*** has told me repeatedly that they were waiting for information from her to be able to proceed.

Actually *** From ***'s *** is not correct. When *** asked me to do this cake for her client on June 19th I asked her if she was paying me or her client she expressed in our phone call on June 19th that she had already sent her client back $200 typically when this occurs you are free and clear of the order and it is the clients responsibility to find a new baker. While we were on the phone *** asked if I would contact her client and let her know I would be doing her order. *** also stated that she would send the money via *** pay, I explained to her that I do not use *** pay if she can do *** or *** she said *** pay is how she would send the money. We got off the phone and she sent me the clients information and then said she sent me $200. I asked her if her client knows I would be contacting her She then proceeded to say she did contact her client. (side noteClient was contacted by me and was very upset and expressed that she was not contacted by *** and did not authorize the transaction) *** then messaged me saying that her client found someone else. I learned that as well when messaging her client that was upset at *** for her lack of communication. I then asked if *** could retract the payment that the card that I had attached to *** well over a year ago did not even exist. she stated that the payment on her end said it already processed. I told *** once I receive the funds I would return them. On June 27th *** and I spoke via *** and I still had not received the money in the mean time I had already contacted *** Support to ask for them to locate the funds. We then spoke on June 28 and I sent her screen shots from *** support regarding messages between *** and I. We then spoke again July 5th, July 6, July 7, July 10th. On July 10th *** said she would go ahead and dispute the charge with her bank I said perfect that would be faster than *** and they can research better to find the money she supposedly sent she then proceeded to ask for screen shots again between *** support and me I send her several screen shots and it still was not good enough for her we then spoke again on July 12 and again sent more screen shots I then proceeded to ask her why we were still discussing this issue if she was going to file with her bank to get the funds back that at this point I was wasting my energy. *** then got offended and I sent more screen shots and she then blocked me from *** so the communication was cut off. If *** did in fact send the money yet she is filing with her bank then she is trying to scam me out of $200 additional dollars that I never received. I think *** is hurting for money and it has come a desperation for her to get money from where ever she can. Further I am placing a Cease and Desist from *** mentioning my name or business name. attached in a separate email will be all screen shots showing that *** is fabricating lies to try to destroy my business. Further I do not think *** sent the money or if she did she could simply file a claim with her bank to receive the funds back. *** has cut off all communication and obviously has lied, once I pointed certain things out she would not have blocked me.

I placed a cake order for our wedding with Cakesmith. We paid in full and when I cancelled my order 3 months in advance, I was told that I can meet the business at the their bank 2 days later for a check. On the day of meeting, 2 hours prior to the meeting time, I was told that she did not feel comfortable meeting me, and instead I was instructed to send a letter of cancellation and within 30 days I would receive my money back. Time has passed and I have not received my refund. I am just days away from my wedding and still do not have a baker who will accommodate my restrictions, which was the whole reason we went with ***. After doing research, multiple bride/grooms around the area have also dealt with the same issues that I have. Not 1 person has had a refund.

Customer Response

Thank you for reaching out to me. As of today, *** has not reached out to resolve the issue. She is currently active on ***. I sent her a message but no response back from her. I have been in contact with other girls who are going through the same issue with this vendor and just recently found out that 1 of the girls is going through a lawsuit against her for the same reasons as I have. Attached are 2 ways I have tried to reach her via *** as she no longer answers my calls or emails. Once I sent a *** comment to her, she deleted her comment and never addressed the issue. If I can be of any more help, please call or email me. Thank you
