Cal Vintage Roofing

I have had (2) separate jobs done by Cal Vintage Roofing. The first job included significant maintenance work on my cement tile roof. Initially I was very happy until I noticed in early 2016 that the material used on the various caps/crowns on the roof was starting to deteriorate and I had an independent third party take a look at it. He told me that the tape used on the roof cap/crowns was longer in tact and that there was a potential for leaking. I asked what should have be done and he recommended a special sealer to be used in place of this tape since the tape obviously didn't last. I called Brent I[redacted] since he was my contact person on the initial job and explained my concern to him. He told me to send him the pictures that my 3rd party person had taken and he would get back to me with his thoughts. He also told me on that phone conversation that this tape is designed to last only 2-3 years and that periodic maintenance would need to be done to replace this tape. That was never told to me when the initial work was done. Anyway I sent an email to Brent I[redacted] on 04/06/216 attaching the pictures provided to me by my 3rd party contractor. I never heard back from Brent and I just decided that going forward I would never use Cal Vintage Roofing again and if asked I would never recommend them to any of my friends. My wife and I ran a family business for 20 years and customer service was always # 1. Obviously Mr. I[redacted] doesn't feel that way.
