Calderon Roofing & Home Remodeling

The owner of this company was contacted by a non profit organization that supports family members of fallen veterans and first responders. I met with the owner, H Calderon, regarding a roof and fence replacement. I was given a quote and proceeded to schedule the contract to complete the job. H Calderon quoted me two days to complete the roof replacement, it took them nine days. The roof was not correctly replaced and I received damage to the interior of my home during a storm. The company was called out to my premise during the storm, they sent an individual that did not bring a latter nor material to cover the hole they made into my home. During the roof repair the owner was informed that I had a death in the family and needed them to complete the services immediately. They tore down my existing fence, left sharp posts visible. They did not use nails to install the fence, they used tiny staples that have pulled apart and the boards have fallen down. The fence is completely unleveled. The owner apologized and said he would be back in two days to redo all the many errors. I called several times and made appointments, each appointment was a no call no show. I was told by the owner that he was losing money from me. The owner stated that he normally works with the insurance companies and charges them a higher amount and in return he covers the cost of the deductible and will give the client a free fence or patio. He stated that he did not complete the roof appropriately because he was expecting for bad weather to come in and then I could file a claim with my insurance company and then he would complete it correctly. I informed him that he was aware that I was a private pay client and I expected what we agreed to in the contract. I was informed that I was not a priority and that he will complete the repairs that his company made when he was not busy.
