Caldwell Car Wash

Review: Car wash equipment damaged a factory installed car moulding. Car moulding was found inside the car wash, bent and twisted, and owner refused to admit that his equipment damaged the car. Owner was hostile and unresponsive when shown the damage to car. Has no regard for customer service, is combative to customers and places blame on customer rather than attempt to correct defective equipment.Desired Settlement: Replace damaged factory installed moulding.

The condition of this gentlemans car is poor. He has multiple damages on the body and its an older model car. I explained that we are not responsible for the repair of previously damaged parts. Our equipment is not malfunctioning, there was no damage done to any other cars as this gentleman witnessed while he was at the car wash. At one point he actually removed a piece of moulding off his car by hand..I have never seen that before. If anything it showed and proved to me the condition of his car. We have a disclaimer sign that advises customers we are not responsible for loose mouldings. Furthermore we have not had any damages to any cars for the entire year..thats more than 20,000 cars safely washed.
