HORRIBLE,
I am disabled with brain stem compression and connective tissue disorder. I employed them in 2008 for ssdi disability application. They told me state law is 6k maximum I would pay them when/if I win. WONDERED WHY IT TOOK 8 YEARS? to win? refused to submit my medical records, asked them WHY, no response. Did not make sense to me. Well, found out why, even tho they told me state law max 6k they would take, they have petitioned for 25% of the whole backpay from me and my childrens(they never even told me that my children would receive benefits, because I am disabled), That means they WANT 29,000, NEVER told me , NEVER explained to me,in 2008, as had they, I would have said NO THANK YOU, I will do this on my own then. Just , strange how medical records not submitted when I request/sent them , and strange to go on 8 years. I called ssdi and they said NEVER have cases with brainstem compression, severe fatigue, chronic pain, and connectiv tissue disorder take 8 years. They said REVIEW will go on to see WHERE the screw up is. . Make sure you have another person/witness with you when you hire an attorney and make sure you read and comprehend the papers they push at you to sign. Even the state and federal law try to protect the disabled and brain stem folks, a lawyer can pettion for 25% of the TOTAL BACKPAY. and the years add up!!. dont let it go 8 years, like I did, I did NOT know any better. a lawyer attending (3) 45 min hearings over 8 years, and requesting medical records, that I had already provided, most of, and writing an appeal. does not justify a 29,500 bill!! this is simply the truth of my expeirence with this firm. Just the facts.

I went to caldwell and ober after I was denied twice when I filed myself so I thought I should hire an attorney. I heard only good things about this place so I decided to hire them. After going over all my records they told me that there was no point in trying to get disability because I would never get approved. Even though, I have extensive medical conditions which include several chronic pain disorders. They said that they didn't want to waste my time, that I would Never Get Approved. I told them that the real reason why they didnt want to take me as a client was because it wasn't a sure thing. That they cared more about their stats. So I went to Stephaine Lake and six months later I was approved for disability.
