The owner became hostile with me didn't complete the work and damaged my vehicle and parts. His employees are upset with his treatment of them.
I took my car in for a car stereo installation and window tint on March 23, 2020, the owner Cody C stated it would be completed in two months or less, my car had just left the body shop after 1 year for a paint job and body work, it had fresh paint, 3 months went by and the work was not done, they wrapped the car with plastic to protect it, when I pulled it off I found multiple chips and scratches in the paint, my new car parts were either soiled or destroyed. He charged me for a stereo I did not order, in addition. It wasn't even installed.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of the amount I paid for the work and the stereo, to cover the damages.

was referred to us by another great customer to finish his "Nightrider" build, not just for window tinting & stereo installation. We informed him the first time he came in asking about it, that yes we could do the work, but it was more of a fill in type of job. We don't do just strictly custom work everyday so there wasn't a guaranteed date for the job to be completed and *** agreed. After the vehicle was dropped off to us we moved to a new location all while COVID got started so we were down for a minute. When we got settled In, we hired another tech to help get stuff done quicker to catch up. We got the whole interior of the vehicle removed and installed the sound damping material. At this point we still had not received the Nightrider dash that *** ordered and had custom built from Mexico. A month or so went by and he received it unpainted. So he had someone to paint it and we never seen the dash again. *** did request for the new radio and window tinting to be installed into the old dash, but we told him it did not make sense to install a radio into a dash that was coming out of the vehicle that was being replaced by the special ordered all in taking a chance to scratch the new window tint also. We informed him that the window tinting was one of the last services to be completed. When the vehicle was dropped off, *** stated that it had to go back to the body shop when we were done with it to have dings fixed along with the scratches and dents that were caused by someone at the body shop. We wrap every vehicle that comes in for custom projects in *** to save us all from scratches and dings. The new parts that *** brought to us were in the same wrapper that they were delivered to us in and were never around anything to become " Destroyed nor Soiled". There was a phone call before the vehicle was picked up about Mr *** calling the customer that referred him to us and trash talking us to him. I did tell *** that if he wasn't happy and was going to trash talk us without saying anything about being unhappy to us, to come get his vehicle then. I told him I would have everything packed up in the vehicle and ready to go and there was a chance of rain that afternoon so be sure come get it soon.
*** also stated that he was charged for a stereo that he didn't order, if so, why did he pay for it when he picked the vehicle up? I also have screenshots of text messages (attached) where he requested the radio that he paid for. We tried to sell him a cheaper radio that did the same thing to save him money but he refused. When*** picked the vehicle up, he was not angry and even shook our hand before he left. An hour later he was sending threatening text messages to our shop phone and started bashing our business on all social media's, along with sending my wife threatening messages on*** I did inform him thru text to bring the radio back and I would give him his money back just to save a headache. When we never give refunds on ANY item we sell, especially a special ordered item. The total of his bill was already majorly discounted and I do refuse to give a refund on any of the product or labor at this point.
