The company sent me a quote, which I acceptedI wanted blue pearl granite for my bathroom and they said they have itI also wanted a wash basin installed with it, which the company told me they provideI wanted rectangularI went to the show room and looked at the granite, it was bright sunlight and looked OKI was ensured that it was blue pearl so I agreedThey came to install it and with it the poorest wash basin I've ever seen in my life! The workmanship was really poor, it had overlaps of almost 2/of an inch or more in some places and other places lessThe hole for the wash basin was much smaller than the basin itselfIt made me want to cry every time I looked at it, I was so disappointedI called Calgary Granite (***) and told them I was disappointed and that the overlap was too bigThey came to remove it and asked me to come to the store and see if we can do something about itAt this time I did not even concentrate on the granite itself, I was so upset about the wash basinThey said the wash basin they provide is of lesser quality!!!!!!!!! and that it isn't really rectangular and that they have to cut the hole so that the wash basin rims doesn't showI said that the overlaps cannot be standard with those big overlaps but they rudely told me that it was quite standard and that they did it so all the timeIt look absolutely horrible, I cannot think that anyone can be happy with such a poor jobI said I'm not happy about it, as it isn't even and the hole is too small and why are they selling me a lesser quality wash basin without telling me so! I'm always willing to see both sides of a story and I do want to settle things rather than cause problemsWe (my husband and I) went in and found them a little hostile, but we were nice and said we will try to find our own wash basin if necessary and try to fit it in what they already cutThey never offered anything, on the contraryWe tried to find something, but the already cut hole did not support anything we could find, as they had to cut the hole bigger and then the back would not fitThey left the back and side splashes after removing and when I realized that it wasn't even blue pearl they installed, it was silver pearl (I still have the back splash here)I was so unhappy and they never offered anything, so in the long run I got so fed up I just said we will drop the entire thing and do our own thingAt this time it already cost me dollarsThey never offered to refund any part of it and never offered to help to solve the matterI went to ***, who installed the most beautiful piece of blue pearl (after which I could really see the difference between the silver pearl and the blue pearl) and a gorgeous wash basin (excellent job)I contacted Mr*** again, but he was rude and refused to pay anything backI let it go, but I really do think this bad customer service we are seeing lately should stop, it just isn't rightPlease be warned!
