The Calhoun Plumbing tech treated Ms***'s drain per operating proceduresHe used a chemical applied through the disconnected drain on the sinkAfter using the chemical and opening the drain line, he ran water through the drain to test itThe drain was then reconnected to the sink
The hose the tech used was wiped with a cloth prior to being set in the sinkThe chemical used is safe on stainless steel, which is why we use itAs you can see from the pictures included, we show pouring the chemical directly on a sink which is never done There is NO damage to the sink, and no stains left from the chemical eitherWater alone was used to rinse the sinkCalhoun Plumbing has no way of knowing what the stains/spots on Ms ***s sink are fromThey can not be from the chemical we usedMs *** refused any payment upon completion of our workWe are still owed all money due. First, we show our first call on Sept to the residence was a leak between floorsAccess was madePlumbing was repaired, however, due to the sub-floor being rotted, we could not guarrantee against further leaksWe made a return call on Sept and replaced the flapper in the toiletTo our
knowledge, all issues with the toilet and/or leak were resolved.In regards to the supposed missing ring(s), we aknowledge that calls were made to our officeOur administrative personnel told the customer to call the police, file a report, and let them handle the situationOur hands are tied as it is their word against that of an employeeWe can not verify one way or the other.We would request a copy of the filed police report and a status update from the investigating officerTo date, no one from the police department has contacted us in regards to this matter.As to a third visit and the stated fact that plumbing issues were not fixed, we are unaware of any unresolved plumbing problems or a third visit

To Whom it Concern,Calhoun Plumbing sent a technician to Mr ***'s house on Weds, Janat noonOur technician tested all gas lines and stops.He capped off a line to the garage, redid fittings to water heater, and replaced gas cs.There were no further leaks foundSeveral fittings were
replaced and installed as the owner had used silicone on the fittings instead of the required pipe dope. Calhoun Plumbing did the work per code as requiredAt the time our technician was there, the customer expressed his approval and even stated he would call us again.Calhoun Plumbing does not feel there is any money due back to homeowner for this work

To Whom It May Concern,Again I would like to reiterate that what the Calhoun Plumbing technician did was per Ohio Plumbing Code procedure.We tested the gas lines with the stops off and onThe stops leaked, therefore they were replacedThe technician alsohad to remove and replace other fittings as they were leaking and had been put together with siliconeCalhoun Plumbingcan not reuse fittings that contain silicone as they leakedThe technician properly replaced such fittings as needed in orderto stop the leaksAt the completion of their work, the homeowner stated he was satisfied with the work and paid for it in full.Calhoun Plumbing completed the job as requestedThe technician used proper due diligence and procedures. I am rejecting this response because: Only Calhoun Plumbing did any work on the basement between the time the [redacted] started work on the basement.  They had not begun work in that area when they showed it to me.  In addition, the team leader stated that he saw how wet it was around there when he first looked at the basement and now sees it is from the leaking water softener.  Calhoun is not as near accommodating as they indicate.  I originally called on 9/8/2015 and had a technician arrive on 9/9/2015. After multiple calls, a face to face visit with the owner( to provide the work order that they kept saying they had no record of) at their location and multiple failures of Calhoun to call me back as promised, I finally got them to agree to come back out.  After they failed to show on 9/25/15, I called 45 minutes after the window closed.  I was told that they were going to call me because the technician got hung up on another job.  We arranged for them to come out on 9/28/15.. On 9/28/15, the technician was unable to fix the problem  and again I got a promise they would call me.   On 9/30/15, I left a message for the owner to call me and got no return call.  On 10/2/15, I called the Office Manager and was told they wouldn't do anything.  I want to know why they can't coordinate with the manufacturer to correct the problem with the water softener they acquired and installed.  I asked who they talked to at the manufacturer and where is the warranty.  I was told they did not keep a record of their contact but could give me the phone number.  The Office Manager hung up on me a little later.  Early in the process, I was told they didn't even know if the unit was still sold.  I said I checked the manufacturers website and it is.  I also was told that as a home owner I would have more success with the manufacturer than the plumbing company.  This makes no sense as I am one sale ant they could have been multiple sales.  The total failure in customer service is beyond belief and is not acceptable.  Calhoun is the only company that provided significant service in my basement in attempts to correct water problems until the [redacted].  If the item was damaged, I believe they are responsible.

We would like to see the invoice from Woods Plumbing. Our tech checked all lines above the appliance. The tech ran the sink as well as the dishwasher. No leaks were found at the time of service.

My complaint ID [redacted] agaist Calhoun Plumbing Inc. They replied replaceing part's and fittings, which they did do. My complain was that they came in and took pipes down which had nothing to do with the leak. They even wanted to know how lone had the water tank been installed that I would have them replaced it. I had to cooperate with these guy's. If I wanted my gas turn on  that freezing night, either I went alone with their suggestion or the line still ahve a leak if you understand what I mean. They never capp a pipe in the garage, I showed it to them and they two agreed that it was fine. I only wish to recover what was unnessary charges.

First, it is our company policy to warrant ONLY our workmanship for a one year period. We received a call from Ms. [redacted]  during which she stated she had workers there at her home doing waterproofing in her basement. They were the ones who informed her that her softener was leaking. I informed...

her we do not repair softeners. She provided us with the information which showed that Calhoun did in fact install her softener four years ago. The company we purchased her unit from stopped handling softeners several years ago. We informed her of this at that time. As a courtesy to her, we sent a technician out to her home free of charge to look at the unit. We called the manufacturer who informed us that they never heard of those units leaking where hers was leaking unless they'd been "manhandled" or tampered with. Their only suggestion was to try to replace an o-ring gasket which they sent to her home free of charge. We were informed at that time that she had a 5 year manufacturers limited warranty. We informed her of that warranty upon her last call to our company. We sent a technician to install the gasket also free of charge as a courtesy to her. We suggested she call the manufacturer (we gave her their number) and talk to them in regards to what was covered under her warranty. We also informed her that we are not authorized to do warranty work for that manufacturer nor are we able to repair softeners. We suggested she talk with the manufacturer to see if they have a local warranty repair representative. At this time we feel we no longer owe Ms. [redacted] anything. We have already gone beyond what is reasonable in regards to a warranty. We will not replace nor install a replacement for free.Calhoun Plumbing
