Review: Took the vehicle to be repaired, because the air conditioner wasn't cooling. He put some stuff in the air conditioner that was suppose to make it cool but it did not. Took it back and requested that he fix it again and he just kept putting me off and wouldn't repair it or refund the monies I paid him for the repairs. And told me to take it some place else for the same repairs.Desired Settlement: Would like a refund on the monies I paid him for the repairs because he did not fix the air conditioner and refused to repair it and told us to take it some place else for the repairs and I had already paid him for those repairs.

Response:

I am writing in response to your letter concerning the complaint submitted against my

business ( ID #[redacted]). I offer this rebuttal to his allegations.

I believe the customer had installed a new compressor on his air conditioner,

but it still did not operate properly, so he called to see if we would check the

charge which turned out to be very high. The fee for this service was $50. The

system was contaminated and needed to be flushed, so we informed him there

would be an additional charge of $70. We used the computer to ensure that

everything was done to specifications, and I believed the unit was starting to cool;

however, the customer called back later and stated that he felt the air conditioner

was not operating well. At this time I told him to bring his vehicle and leave it at

our business and we would check everything again. My employees are competent

and professional, and we have no qualms about performing a service in the

customer's presence; however, this customer was so difficult to work with that he

made them uncomfortable. He was aggressive and critical. Again, I asked him to

leave the vehicle so that we could check it later, but he refused. That is when I

told him to take the car and have someone check it elsewhere. I did not refund his

money because we did everything we were paid to do.

The customer tried too fix this problem himself before he came to me. I recharged the A/C with my computer

when the customer left, all the pressures were perfect. I tried really hard too work with him,

but could not.
