Cali life tattoo studio has a really good reviews. I've also seen a lot of work that Adrian has done and it's amazing artwork. I've been wanting to get scars covered that have been bothering me for a long time, from my abusive ex. Excited about Adrian's artwork and high reviews, I scheduled an appointment with him. He said he would be happy do the half tiger face I wanted. The day was finally here, I laid back and let him work his magic even falling alseep at one point. Without my knowledge, he decided to take it upon himself to mark in excessive black shading around my entire arm, and a massive black blob that went down the front of my arm. I was horrified and embarrassed of my arm all over again. I reached out to Adrian and his response was that he would fix the black chunky wobbly line down my arm for $500. I had already paid him $1,000 for this tattoo and couldn't afford that. So he generously offered to do free leaves, to make it look like the tiger is looking through the leaves of a tree, hopefully making it look decent. He made me wait a month and a half. Finally my next appointment is here. He is very rushed and short with me. I wanted to discuss beautiful leaves with a flower in them. He was rude about my wishes and ideas, and told me a flower in the leaves would not look good and it would have to be below the tigers face, and that it would be a separate appointment and full cost. He had the leaves already ready to go, they were free leaves and the only ones he was willing to do. So I declined the flower, just fix the blob with leaves. In the end, he put very different contrast leaves, compared to the detail of the tiger. Half of the tigers face is covered now, and the leaves look very bad. All the blackness is still there. I was shocked that after telling him how unhappy I was with all the shading, that the 2nd time he would add more shading and completely black out part of my back and my entire shoulder. I feel like that was an intentional jab. When I look in the mirror all I see is black, and it's very depressing. To make matters worse, I messaged him to please stop advertising my photos on his Instagram page because I am really unhappy and embarrassed. He told me to stop messaging him, unsubscribe to his page and cussed at me. All in all, tipped him $100 and bought pizza for the entire shop my first visit, and this is how he treats his clients. Please don't ever go here!
