This siding issue is related to storm damage and is not under warrantyCaliber has been in contact with the homeowner and she has been informed that we will come and look at it, giving her a phone call when we are in route so that she can be present and unlock the gateThe siding is a special order since it is only a few pieces so we have been trying to find the siding so that the homeowner does not have to purchase an entire box, therefore saving the homeowner moneyAs it sits right now, there is not any harm that will come to the house as the prep work that was done prior to the siding being put on will prevent any damageIf it were an emergent situation we would have treated it as suchWe will be in contact with the homeowner as soon as we find the siding (in the amount of pieces needed) and we will complete the jobThank you for your concern, Caliber will complete the job as we stated from the beginningWe are sorry for the delay

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Caliber is continuing to lieAs stated in the emails traded with Caliber which I provided to Revdex.com on 9/13, they have never reached out to my insurance companyI gave Caliber my insurance agents contact information and have called her several times to ask if Caliber had called her, to which she replied noI checked in again with the claim agent Mary on 9/and again she said she had not received any calls from CaliberI sent Caliber an email with her info on 7/As previously stated to Caliber and noted in the emails traded with them, *** *** is asking for Caliber to provide proof of the hail damage prior to them sending a 2nd claim agent to my house*** *** is questioning why Caliber didn't offer a rebuttal to their 1st claim agent, when during the inspection the agent gave his analysis stating I did not have hail damage on the front roof section of the house, only a minimal amount on the back (Calibers agent Tim stated it was severe and gave me a written quote of $12,505)*** *** also does not understand why Caliber's agent did not go up on the roof with their agents during their inspectionThis is also something that Leonard did not comprehendThis unresolved claim and roof repair has caused me to delay the sale of my houseIt is going to be October now and this is not the optimal time to list my houseI'm shocked that Caliber is asking what I want, the answer continues to be the same, contact my claim agent, provide them what is needed for them to send a 2nd claim agent to the house, attend the 2nd site visit with *** *** going onto the roof with them and showing them the hail damage on the front/back of the roof, provide *** *** a counter amount to their assessed damages and repair the roofThe alternative is for Caliber to repair the roof at no charge to me for the distress and delays caused or provide me compensation so I can get the work done. *** On Thu, Jul 28, at 4:PM, *** *** wrote:Hi Leonard,*** *** called today and said they needed a reason to come back outIt can be photos or an estimate but they need something.I provided them the letter you gave me which authorizes you to call themCan you call the claim rep Mary?** *** ***

Caliber Construction replaced my siding in 2014. There was another storm in and I had Leonard M*** (Caliber Construction) give me an estimate for replacing roof (storm May 2016). It was during his inspection for the hail damage he noticed two places where the siding was not nailed properly - one on the house and one on the garage. He said they would fix it. This had nothing to do with hail / storm damage 2016. I have attached his estimate from June where it clearly states *repair pieces siding. The only contact he has had with me are in the copies of text messages which I just kept repeatedly sending him. The 1st one was 12/"I will get a guy by there" and the 2nd one was 1/"got it". He also told me when he put siding, gutters and new roof on in that he has a huge warehouse in Mooresville where he keeps extra materials when a job is finished to have on hand for repairs. Clearly not true according to his recent reply that he has to order items for repair.

Caliber is again stating they previously sent [redacted] the information ** requested. I would like to know to whom they sent the information and what email address they sent it to. I only provided Caliber with the phone number of the claim agent - Mary and she's continued to state that she has never received any phone calls from Caliber. As previously stated in the emails I sent to Caliber, they need to call the ** Claim agent. Mary [redacted]As previously stated, [redacted] is expecting to see the severe hail damage, reflected in the estimated repairs by Caliber of $12,505. [redacted] provided me an estimate of the repairs they found were needed ($2600.) and I passed that on to Caliber who firmly disagreed.[redacted] is requesting to see proof of the damages Caliber found. Once they are provided this information then they'll send a 2nd field agent to my home to meet with Caliber. Providing the proof should not be a problem since Caliber has been on my roof twice now, taking pictures.1st visit from Caliber rep Tim 6/2 - took pictures, advised I had severe hail damage - gave me a quote for $12,505.2nd visit from Caliber 7/25 by Leonard - took pictures stated there was hail damage to the whole roof and he didn't understand why Tim never went on the roof with [redacted] and why he didn't give a rebuttal to the [redacted] agent's analysis. Leonard also took photo's and said he'd personally handle this going fwd.I truly not sure they realize the hassle that this has caused for me. I cannot sell my home like this without declaring I'm aware of the roof damages and that resulted in a lower sale price for me. I initially contacted CALIBER in June so they could join in the estimates I received for interior remodeling. That remodeling was done a preparation to sell my home. This roof mess has caused me to miss the optimal selling season. I cannot continue like this, I need a resolution. If one can not be made then I will file a 2nd complaint with the State License Board and continue on until this is resolved.
