Really bad customer service and slow response timeMisleading information

Caliber Home Loans is the worst lending companyVery unprofessional and not responding to phone calls and numerous emailsEven though my pending mortgage amount way below the 80% of the equity they are still taking the PMI for months(Almost two years and additional $4000)Also they are not giving the refund for the check my city county sent for the homestead credit to themCalling their [redacted] service is a nightmare and they are giving lots of runaround and transferring to different departmentsNot one person willing to give a direct answer on why they are taking PMI from my monthly payment and what happened to the money sent my county for last year's homestead creditI'm started paying off my loan aggressively to get away from themWhat are my options to get my PMI money and Homestead credit back?

Horrible experience! After working on my credit for nearly a year, my scores finally reached where they needed to beThen, the runaround! The loan officer we were dealing with wouldn't return calls or emails and when we did catch her, she asked for the same info over and over againEvery week she "had to upload my credit report", whatever that meansSo now, after wasting months with them, I am searching for a new lenderThese people don't care about their customers

Our loan from HSBC was sold to Caliber in October, We had a running battle with HSBC due to supposedly late payments, claimed even after providing them evidence to the contrary
Things have not gone well since then We faxed pages of checks, along with other evidence, showing we are up to date, on March I talked to a "supervisor" in *** service on March ("***") who said HSBC claimed they paid our property tax (they hadn't, receipt was faxed), that they paid for homeowner insurance when ours lapsed (it never did, and they received information showing that), and that our fax would constitute a complaint they would answer within days We still have not heard from them We submitted another complaint to the NYS Attorney General, and we received a letter dated April 23rd giving us a Single Point of Contact ("SPOC") I called him today, and he stated he only handles accounts in arrears or hardship cases Now when I call on either my cell phone or home phone I can only get to the SPOC "department", who may or may not be able to connect me to *** *** He said that we'd have to work with the *** service department on the earlier complaint, only the number now automatically goes to the SPOC department which states the "regular" *** service department can't help us anymore, only our SPOC
If you have to deal with this company, be sure to document everything, use different phones as much as possible, and look up the address of your state's banking department and attorney general- you'll need them

Right now I'm totally *** with this Company my husband just got approved for a loan remodification and it was sent over to Caliber Home Loans via another companyCaliber was suppose to send us a copy of the Lian remodification for it to be signed so that we can begin making paymentsWe have waited and waited and have yet to receive the paperworkEven after many calls requesting the packet for signing still no resultsWe have now received paperwork from this group saying that our loan was not approved because we didn't send in paperwork needed by the fifth of this monthWe have marled down phonecalls where we have talked with them about fallacies on their behalfWhat else can be done to stop predatory lending such as this?

Our loan was sold to Caliber in Since this time, they have made multiple errors relative to our escrow again In my opinion, this is the most poorly operated loan servicing process I have ever had the misfortune of being subject to Tomorrow I will have to call them....AGAIN...to get this corrected You'll find other people's opinions at the Consumer Affairs website Link below

Horrible incompetent *** service I have placed phone calls over the last months trying to get them to send me e-statements No luck No calls or follto my issues or concerns Often times the phone doesn't allow you to speak with CS rep during working hours Their website is terrible and appears to have been designed by a child All in all a terrible unprofessional company with no concept of *** service When I can finally get through to a human, the assistance received is non-existent and useless

I was doing my loan with Edwin and Barbara and they are The Most disrespectful and Unprofessional people to work withI send every single document that they ask me for and when I ask them for something they wait until last minute to answer and that is because we have to be keeping asking and askingThey changed my closing a few times and almost lost the property.They are so expensive! Although they push you to have a ridiculous amount in the insurance

My home loan has been sold to Caliber bank. Bad for me.
Now I mail in monthly payments, and Caliber bank sends me threatening letters.

The last letter was a final(!) warning about charging me $800 for required insurance that is not really insurance, it's just something Caliber figures they could tack on.

I have all the required insurance. What I do not have is a way to tell Caliber Bank that I do have all the required insurance. The phone number they sent does not involve reaching a human at any point in the first half hour of the phone tree. The website they ask to go to to fill out insurance information does not allow login with Caliber-provided credentials. And Caliber Home Loans main website does not recognize my email either, despite regularly using said email to send me scams.

And, of course, the fax with documents sent to Caliber-provided number has disappeared off the face of the Earth. It is a black hole.

This company is horrible. Even though I pay them monthly for my property taxes, they DIDNT pay my property taxes. They say they did but when the due date came around, still no payment. Call them and they keep claiming it was paid a month in advance. I had to pay my own taxes and now they are basically refusing to refund me the tax money because they swear they paid it. They have started multiple investigations and then come back saying that my taxes are paid in full. Of course they are, I paid them. I sent them my receipt, and the county sent them proof that a payment was not received by them. Nobody should deal with this AWFUL company. If your loan gets sold to them, I'd look in to refinancing ASAP. I'm going to refinance as soon as I can. How this fraudulent company is still open is beyond me considering them amount of negative reviews.

Chase sold my loan to Caliber Home Loans. I have nothing but good to say about Caliber. They are a God sent to me for sure. I've had deep hardship and seen no way of saving my home. I'm a single mother of two young children. I highly recommend Caliber Home Loans. They are very friendly, caring, and easy to deal with. Paper work very simple and easy to understand. Thank you Caliber Home Loans for giving me the chance to save my home.

Lack of communication is the trademark of this place. Remember by getting a loan ur giving them business-they are not doing you a favor. Take your business else where. They dragged on my process for several months at least double of what's necessary for the propert I was looking at. They absolutely refused to give me a closing date throughout the process. Then they called me and in one single phone call they told me that today was the closing date and that my loan been denied-due to what they thought was lack FHA agreement with the complex. Howeve, they didn't look right. I fired them and hired guild mortgage and closed in less than 6 weeks. Poor communication. No ethics. They are also very inconsiderate so if ur trying to do in a hurry then go else where. Terrible service.
