Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Made my whole experience with them ***. The lady at the counter never shuts up and just listens to what the customers want. More problem makers then a problem solver. Will never go back to this place
Work done on my 1997 white *** windows was not fixed as per contract. Charged me 170.00 that I paid cash for a job not completed.
I brought my 1997 *** on September 31, 2017 to repair both of windows at California Auto Glass. The man quoted me $170.00 for both windows to be repaired. I paid in cash received my receipt and left assuming that the windows were repaired. That evening the passenger side window did not go up or down and the driver side window had a grinding sound. I called the next day and spoke with a gentleman saying that he didn't understand me and that he spoke only Spanish. He told me to go the California Auto Glass location on *** station. I called again and spoke with Jorge he stated that I had to pay another $100.00 in order to replace a motor. I told him that it was part of repairing the window and why was it not repaired, instead Jorge said that he replaced 2 regulators. This type of business practice is misleading along with cheating the consumer. I drove to the California Auto Glass located on *** October 12, 2017 to speak with a young man Aldo *** stating that he was the manager of both locations. I explained to him the situation and also told him that I have been at his establishment for repairs before and that did not phase him nor did he care. He kept on reiterating the fact that I only paid $170.00 for 2 regulators and not the motor for the passenger side and that I needed to pay an addition of $100.00 for the motor. Why would I just go to an auto glass repair only to replace regulators, I wanted my windows completely repaired! I am very disappointed on the poor customer service and the misleading information given to me. I feel too many business try to deceive and take advantage of senior citizens that do not have any representation. My son was going to accompany me to handle this situation but unfortunately he is in the VA hospital with pneumonia. How many more people are being deceived with this business, California Auto Glass!!
I want my $170.00 returned to me because I feel as though this establishment deceived me on thinking that they repaired my 2 windows, instead, they added another repair at a fee that I was not aware of. With the return of my $170.00 I can repair my 2 windows at a legitamte business that honors their word along with a dominet English speaking staff. Thank you for allowing me to make a compalint and I hope and pray that no one eslse gets deceived.

I do not accept the response for the mere fact that when my daughter in law which is fluent in speaking Spanish and I went to California Auto Glass we spoke with Aldo ***. He stated that he was the manager. This is the first I have heard of a person named Gabe. I refuse to work or bring my vehicle with a company that lies about who is the manager and that is very unethical in their business practice. My only resolution is a REFUND of $170.00. If this sub-standard business refuses to refund my money, the next step for me is to contact *** and contact an advocate for senior citizens of ***. So the last step for the so called manger Gabe can do is call me to refund my money in cash or mail me a check. My vehicle will not get repaired by this business. This is my final response!
My name is Gabriel,I am the owner of California autoglass, I spoke to my technicians that repaired your power window motors and in fact we did repair both motors, which is what it states on the customers receipt. We informed our client that she needed to replace her switch also, because without the switch the part will not work.Now the client is requesting a full refund for both motors,howeever they are functioning,if we test the motor directly it will work, the part that was repaired must also need the switch to be in a functioning state.
My name is aldo, and I am the manager and son of the owner. I spoke with the client and her niece,I first checked the driver side motor that we repaired and it was functioning,the right side was not due to her switch not being in a functioning state,she stated that I was wrong and did not know what I was talking about,so I insisted on inspecting the motor directly to prove that the motor was working but she denied,I stated that she could buy the switch and we would install it at no cost, but again denied me and rudely said I wrong again.the woman's niece came threatening our staff stating and I quote "I will come back and shut this motherdown". Now the client still has her 90 day warranty which is stated on her copy of the receipt , and our offer is still good standing you can bring us the switch and we will install it for you at no cost, I was extremely professional towards both lady's, even when your niece was yelling at me, and threatening me and our staff.
