I just wanted to let you know that the owner at California Auto Sales did buy both parts I needed & a check is in the mail he told me for both my sunroof & window leakAlthough, my Uncle has to replace the parts eventually that are bad in my vehicleHe is very offended that I complained to Revdex.com, so he made everything "right", only after me filling a complaintI am glad he made it right, but am sorry it took me having to complain to Revdex.com about my situation with the purchase of my vehicle that I purchased from himI still do not appreciate being called a liar by himHe really should think before he speaks, when it was only a mis-communication on his part & my part.Problem has been resolvedThank-you

She had this car fully inspected by her trusted mechanic at her own convenience prior of her purchase .She didn't mention anything other than front drive line need to be back to original.I ordered the necessary parts and called her upon arrival of the parts and she picked it up from my office NOT FROM DAVIS.However there were some bolts she needed to get she picked them from local Toyota dealer in auburn but since they were out of stock on the other bolts she refused to wait for these bolts to be ordered from the same Toyota dealer which she could have had the next day and decided to go Davis and picked them up and called me from there to pay for them which I did.She was in my office again on Feb 1st stating she needs some extra parts for drive line which I ordered from Toyota dealer and left her a voice mail and text message.Parts are ready at the Auburn Toyota to be picked up and all paid for it by California auto sales. We will reimburse her for .In reference to abs light this is a new issue .once the front drive line is put together I can ask our mechanic to check it for herIt is necessary to mention despite all free services I give to my customers to keep my high moral standards in conducting my business but at the same time I refuse to be abused by some opportunist customers whom they try to use personal issues to take advantage of my trust Sincerely yours [redacted] ***

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
In the matter that California Auto Sales stated is incorrect I called the dealer the next business day because in my papers that I signed it says I have days to return the carI went the next day because I was
vizualizing problems and I did have my mechanic inspect the vehichle and it was leaking and had some issuesI needed to do alot to the car which the sales guy said my car thatI bought is in perfect condition and theres nothing wrong with it only needs tires and oil changeSo I called the man and said whats going on the car is having some problems id like a return and he states he cant return the car I said why not the paperwork says two days and I just bought the car I truly cant afford any more expenses I need a reliable car for schoolSo he said let me take a look at it and he did he work on a few things for about a hour and the ac he couldnt fix eitherSo im not sure if he maybe messed up the car more at that point as wellThe car ended up having more issues I fixed everything pretty much except the engine and now have a huge loan I need to pay back because of this situatuonHe was very unresponsive and inconsiderate that he is selling lemon cars

Complaint: ***Hi I sent in a complaint about my car I bought at California Auto SalesI did get the partsHowever when I went to get them at Toyota like the dealer asked me to, they were not thereSo My mom called for me because I was afraid to talk to the owner, because he talks over me and raises his voice at mePlus my mom was tired of hearing about the car problemsWhen she called *** at California Auto Sales he talked over her as well & she couldn't even talkHe said the parts were sent to him & He told my mom, "That I am a very good Liar!" Which really made my mom mad! Turns out he sent them back to Toyota, long story shortMy mom & I came to the conclusion that when I went to pick the parts up at Toyota , they must have been at his shop & then he sent him back to Toyota. She asked him about fixing the horrible leak & he said it's an easy fixHe told her it's the windshield & explained it needed to be re-sealedHe never offered to fix it, I assume he wants me to fix itAS I SAID IN MY 2ND COMPLAINT IT HAS TAKEN OUT ALL MY INSIDE LIGHTS & THE BLINKERS & NOW THE BRAKE LIGHTSI am soooooooo frustratedNow my Uncle has to replace the wiring harness & the abs switchPLUS , this leak I will have to take somewhere to get fixed & I have no money & he hired me for days & paid me $& then said , "he talked to his tax guy & he suggested for me not to work there, to help pay back the $I borrowed to put towards this carThe car I traded in I bought off his lot & the timing belt was going outSo, I was forced to trade that car in yet againNow all I want is for him to do the right thing & let me get the leak & the lights fixedI would think this is a safety hazard? Plus he admitted he knew it was the windshield, when I told him I thought it was the sunroofSo therefore, he lied about that, by not telling me when I bought the car. I would like to have him pay for my leak to be fixed & also for all the lights the leak "took out", when Eventually it's going to be 100% ruinedThis is a safety issue, with dash lights outMy mom is very upset that he called me a liar & he wouldn't even give her the room to talkIf anything , he has been the dis-honest one hereI also think he should get a mark against his business practices! I feel like I have been totally cheated numerous times by himI will NEVER go back!
Sincerely,
*** ***

To: Revdex.com Whom it may concern! This vehicle was sold As Is with no warranty [redacted] needs to read the papers that she signed carefully. If she would purchase the contract cancelation option for $175.00 then the car Had insurance for 2 days and up to 250 miles but she did not bought that insurance and she decline it by signing the contract cancilation option, so she needs to read the contract cancilation option again so she can understand. I am sending you another copy of contract cancilation form that she decline to buy it with her signature. We don't have no responsibility for any repair of the vehicle because it was sold As is and she refuse to buy the 2 days insurance by signing to decline it. So she could not return the car. Thanks,

Complaint: [redacted]Hi I wrote a complaint to your company a while ago about the ABS light on & the entire wiring harness is missing? (Per. my Uncle who is very proficient in mechanics. The dealer/owner [redacted] said for me to pick the parts last Tuesday at Auburn Toyota. I went there & nothing. I went back on Friday & Toyota told me the dealer [redacted] never even ordered them. Now, we had that large rain storm come through & near the front of my car on the inside has an enormous water leak. It has caused my blinkers & dash board lights to go out & can not even see how fast I am going at night. I plan to call him tomorrow to see where my parts are at & also what he plans to do to take care of this leak. I spent nearly 45min. vacuuming up the large pool of water in my car.All I want is for him to make it right. He continues to just put me off & I am afraid the longer he does this the less your Dept. can do about it.I would like him to purchase the parts like he said & my Uncle will do the work for free. ( The ABS light & the wiring harness. ) I would like for a professional to fix the leak not someone he knows.I do not trust this man to have anything done through his shop. I have bought 4 cars from him & the reason why, is because each one ends up with a problem and then I need to turn it in & he "gives me a deal" so I thought & end up with something worse each time & pay him even more money.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

To whom it may concern!
On 6-22-2016 [redacted] came to my dealership and purchased a 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible. Before she bought the car I told her that this car is AS IS and does not come with any warranty unless she buys a contract concilation option agreement that cover 48 hrs and up to 250 miles driving. Also I told her she can take this vehicle to any mechanic shop for full inspection before purchasing. She decline to take it to mechanic shop for inspection and she also decline the contract cancilation option agreement, she knew that there is no cooling off in state of California. Attach is the As Is form and the contract concilation form that she declined with her signature. She call me 3 weeks later that the car has problem. I told her that the car was sold As Is with no warranty so I don't have any responsibility for any repair on that vehicle.

She came with her husband to my dealership and they both test drove and inspected the 2005 Missan Quest. After inspection they decide to buy the van. I explained to them that the van is As with No Warranty and if they want to take the van for an...

inspection to any locall Auto Repair Shop. She said she dose not need to do that. Also I gave her the contract cancilation Form and explain to her that if she buy the insurance for $175.00 she could keep the van for 48 hours and drive the van up to 250 miles and if she dose not like it she could return the van for full refund. But she decline that option so I gave her all the options before purchasing. I am sending you all forms that she signed. If you have any question please call me. Also this vehicle has been smog and certified smog station. Thanks
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have contacted the dmv to follow up on the company that smoged this van. This man willingly sold a van that didnt even make it 25 miles. I was over charged dmv fees in the amount of 134.00 dollars the dmv told me. He had pressure washed the van to make it seem in good shape but once apart you could see all the clean up compared to what he couldnt. I found anothwr woman he frauded somd her a car with a fake smog that was on californias lemon law list. He exchanged her car for her after some effort on her part. She is willing to testify for me. He didnt say take this car to a mechanic and he rushed through all paperwork making all check marks on papers. He knew the van was going to fall apart and im sure he didnt th ink it would happen 25 mins aftwr purchase but it did. His as papaerwork means nothing when smog fraud is involved and the dmv fee fraud.

To whom it may concern
To response to your letter, I like to mention a couple of things
#1- we never over charge her any DMV fees $55 for document processing charge #55 for smog $220.00 for taxes and $120.00 for registration. Total will be $450.00. All these charges are written on her contract with her signature.
#2- this vehicle was smoged at a certified smog station called Diversified Automotive and this vehicle passed smog legally. You are welcome to investigate that.
#3 we never pressure wash an engine. She bought this vehicle as is and she declined to but the contract cancellation option. The only thing we can do for her that we can find her a mechanic shop to fix her car with a discount rate.

Review: I bought a 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser from [redacted] (the dealer) at California auto sales. First he said he the price would be $2000.00 less than it was. So my parents loaned me the money & he said he would hire me to wash cars, watch the office, answer phones etc... I worked for 2 days a total of 16 hours & he only paid me $ 100.00. After the 2nd day he said he needed to talk to his " tax-guy " . He then called me the next day & said don't come back, my tax guy said it wont work out. Plus the car has has the ABS light on since I bought it & I had to purchase windshield wipers. Aren't these safety feature you have to have in place before the seller sells it to you? Not only that the car came out without the driveline. He said he would get it for me. He finally called me & said he had it, but he made me drive all the way to Davis Ca. to get it & my Uncle put it on for me. My main question is can he sell me a used car with the ABS light on?Desired Settlement: I would like for him to ave the ABS light fixed & to repay me for the windshield wipers. Which were $20.42. ( They were falling off & cracked all over.)
