Student paid for school and decided he wanted to wait to start until a later date. Our policy is only 3 days to request a refund if you haven't started class. The student waited past the 3 day period to send a written request for a refund.

Review: Hello my name is [redacted] and I'm hoping to see if you can help me out to resolve this matter with this company. 2 years ago I enrolled to go to school here. At that time they had a school in Santa Rosa CA. Unfortunately due to health issues I wasn't able to attend the school. I requested a refund at that time and the owner of the company Mr. [redacted] told me that he will issue a check and will send it to me. I waited and waited and no refund ever came to me. I called many times spoke with his wife Monique the dire to of the school and once again I was told I was gonna get my money back that they just needed more time. I agreed to give them the time they requested. Another 6 moths went by and no money. Then last year my husband and I went to his main office in Sacramento in August 2014. He gave us a letter stating he will give us our money back in a period time of 90 days. We once again trusted him. Long story short still today s date and we have not seen a single penny from this person. I have called left many messages and no one returns our call. We are hoping to see if you can assist us in getting our money.Desired Settlement: At this point I want my money back no one penny less or more. I understand times are tough but my husband and I worked very hard to paid this money to him and for this person to use my money and use it for his own personal used, is not fair. Please feel free to contact me I have the original letter he gave me back in August 2014 with his signature stating he was gonna give us our money back in 90 days. I just want my money back but I want the whole amount in one check and no payments.

Review: I got into a contract agreement with this company where it details their role in making my barber shop a school and my role in getting the shop ready to become a school. They fail to realize that it is impossible to make my shop a school unless it comply with certain state regulations and business codes. After going through a very improper, unprofessional training process, which consisted of mere total of 2 hours during different days, I started to express my concerns. I waited until nearing the end of the contract deadline, to inform of my concerns and dissatisfaction. They fail to resolve the concerns and fail answer any questions I had. I accrued a lot of business expenses while working to meet their criteria and loss of wages traveling to meet with them to go through their training which was always cut short to their convenience. I have not received any materials and proper licensing that I paid for. The contract also has untruthful information on it. A lot things doesn't add up. Lastly, while going to there appointed meetings they always said that "people like you" which was referring to me you usually take a longer time than usual to get the school up and running. This was either their attempt to push back any days to which I was I had to meet up to their requirements in the agreement, or it was an outlandish way to say I'm not good enough to open a school. This happened multiple times, I always felt since of inferiority to them. I always thought that was a tactic they used make me feel like I was breaching the contract. And to this day, I have a insecure sense that I did something wrong for which my opportunities to operate a school at my shop location was lost. Thank you for listening, I hope that anyone who will want to pursue doing business with this company avoid them at all cost. And, to the unaware consumer who thinks that the State has your best interest in mind when going through their student-work program, this company will shatter those beliefs.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund on what I paid to enter to this contract and the of cost of business, and loss in wage, cost of advertisement, etc.
