I used Cal Moto BMW and Triumph for the repair of a crash damaged motorcycle. I took the motorcycle to the shop and told them at initial inspection that at the very least, there was a bent brake disk. I was assured that they knew what they were doing and would execute a thorough inspection.\r\n\r\nI was contacted and told that the inspection was done, the information submitted to insurance and that due to availability, I would need to wait for parts to become available before the repair was started.\r\n\r\nThe bike was stored in the open during the summer at the dealership resulting in sun damage to the seat and some of the plastic parts. Insurance was charged to replace the seat.\r\n\r\nWhen I picked up the bike after it had been in their care for two months, I asked specifically about the bent rotor and was assured that the bike had been ridden and there was no indication of problems. During the ride home, I noted that there was a pulsing of the front brakes. This turned out to be the bent rotor that I was told was not a problem. I took the bike back and was told that a new disk would be ordered. This took another week.\r\n\r\nThe mountings for my saddlebags were also damaged and the part was back ordered. Because I cannot just run the bike to the shop and then let it sit for days, I opted to fix that myself. I picked up the parts and they did offer assistance if I could not mount them myself.\r\n\r\nDuring routine maintenance this week, I noticed that only half of my handlebar mounting screws were tight. Fortunately this never manifested as a problem while I was riding.\r\n\r\nI will not use this shop ever again.\r\n\r\n
