This member emailed me to cancel her sons membership and gave me the wrong name on two occasions. And the last email she sent me was trying to change the name she... sent me on her first two previous emails with putting the right name on it. Knowing she had given me the wrong name all along. Which going back in my email from the first date she emailed me was different from the one she was trying to tell me she gave me. I talked with her and apologized for the misunderstanding and explained to her she gave me the wrong name and I couldn't cancel a membership with the wrong name. If she would had given me the right name I could of canceled it no problem. She gave me the name [redacted] or [redacted] instead of giving me the correct name she gave me when signing he son up witch was [redacted] . I have picture of the email she sent me with the wrong name on it. Thank you for your time [redacted]

Review: On 8/12 I canceled my membership via email as requested by owner [redacted]. Today I noticed that my credit card has been charged $60 on Jan 2 so I went back to look at previous months and I was also charged on 9/1 and 10/1. I called the owner [redacted] and he acknowledged receiving my email cancellation but was unable to find it under the name I provided. He emailed me once saying he was unable to locate the membership and what name was it in. I responded with names it might be under assuming it was my sons name since he was the one taking classes. I never heard back so I assumed it was located and cancelled. Instead of letting me know it was not in my sons name or my maiden name he just continued to charge me after I gave written cancellation.

I have attached the copy of the initial email I sent him with his first response saying he was unable to find the account. I responded with names and never head back so I assumed it was taken care of.

He refuses to issue a refund even though he acknowledges he did receive the email request to cancel.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the 3 months (60*3=$180) that were charged after my cancellation request.

I am rejecting this response because: I feel that when he was unable to find the account regardless of the name given it was HIS responsibility to let me know he was unable to locate the account to cancel it not just forget abut it and keep charging me after I requested to cancel. He emailed me to say he need the name on the account, I emailed back with possible names I assumed it was under my sons name since he was the one taking classes. After I emailed back names I never heard from him again so I was under the assumption that he located it and did what was asked. If he was still unable to find it was his responsibility to contact me again to further investigate not just drop the matter and keep collection money that was not due to him. That is theft!
