customers will receive their gear in 6-14 months. They are not my hands. I cannot give an exact time for her gear to arrive in Ohio. The braider is working on the lists. She elected to pay for the entire bosal up front. Usually, we accept a 50 per cent deposit.
CC started in May 1994. 21 years of making superior products in the CA tradition doesn't just stop without reason. As to calling other shops here---there are no shops with custom braiding here at all. I have written the local horse column for nearly 34 years.
I said merely said "Good luck" meaning locating another braider. I have been injured and so has my braider more than once. We are working to rectify the time schedule (drought, arid temps, inflammation of tendons, cattle being shipped out of this country so the selection of hides takes at least a full day's travel, etc.). Materials are purchased soon after an order is placed depending upon when. It is to our advantage to get the gear out, but neither the braider, nor I will allow second class materials or gear to be released from CC. The CA tradition is very important to us.
We are waiting for a loan to fund to buy out some customers like [redacted], who either don't understand or who seem to have an issue with what is related. I said "later in the year" to her, but in her mind that meant early in the new year. It should take a month according to the folks I just spoke with. Hope that will satisfy the anger that she seems to be dealing with. Hand work is not like construction at all so the businesses are not related.Am out of time with customers coming to pick up and order items today.
Sincerely,

Review: March 2014 I place a 50% Deposit of $237.50 for a Hackamore which consist of a Bosal and Macate which are head gear for horses. One month later I placed another deposit of $420.00 for a 70 foot Reata which is a rawhide Lariet. After several months speaking with [redacted] the owner of California Classics, she was not able to give me a time line to when I should expect delivery of my purchases , there were always excuses. I decided to cancel the first order and apply the deposit to pay in full the Reata which Ms. [redacted] agreed too. the last conversation with Ms. [redacted]s was in November 2014 when I asked for a full refund in which she said no she is a small business and can't work like tahat. I'm aware that under the Consumer Purchasing Act that is wrong. Still under good faith I continued to wait. Since then I have left several phone messages and emails without any response. My faith and patients are at its end feeling that fraud and bad business practice are taking place.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded in full $657.50. Since waiting for the product for over a year, with no responses to phone or email contact I truly would not like or trust doing business with this company.

Review: I ordered and paid in full $465.50 for a bosal (a piece of horse headgear) from this company on May 22, 2012 and have not received the item. They will not respond to my emails or Facebook messages asking why I have not received the product.Desired Settlement: I would like the money I paid for the item, $465.50, refunded in full as soon as possible.

Review: I have Paid In full for merchandis that has not been received. After reciving payment Businss has not return calls or e-mails. The process has been 12-2013 to days date. I would like some help getting my money back or Merchandis. Thank You [redacted] Desired Settlement: Would like money back or my Merchandis

Review: California Classics including owner [redacted]s and [redacted] offer consignment services for western gear through their website and business sales as they travel to western and ranching shows. I agreed to consign 2 [redacted] custom hand made rawhide bosals at a total value of $1050 to California Classics. [redacted] confirmed the bosals arrival at their place of business on 5 Oct 2011 and placed them on their website with photos for sale for a total of $1100+. After repeated attempts to get a status of the bosals since they had not sold I asked California Classics to return them to me. California Classics informed me on 18 Jun 2013 that they sold the bosals to a customer on memorial day 2013 but the check used for payment did not have sufficient funds and they were attempting to contact the buyer for payment. California Classics specifically [redacted] told me if they could not collect-they would pay me out of their own funds. Tod date despite repeated attemtps to phone and email California Classics they have not sent me my payment of $1000 for my bosals that they sold. They have stopped answering phone calls, telephone messages and emails from me.Desired Settlement: Payment to me for the $1000

Review: I ordered a product from this company over a year ago and have yet to receive it. They do not respond to your emails or telephone calls. They were quick to charge my credit card a hefty deposit.Desired Settlement: This bosal/mecate was ordered for the training of a specific horse. Since it did not arrive in a timely manner I purchased another unit from another company. I no longer have any use for any product that they might make now or in the future.Regards,[redacted]

Review: I ordered a bosal march 19 2014 and haven't got any answers when I will get it. When I ordered it [redacted] did not say anything about waiting at least year or more to start it I. I have been trying to get a answer about this for almost a year now with no answer till the last week when I said I was taking further actions and she emailed saying good luck . I paid 725.00 and I just want my money back.I also called on a different number than what I gave her to confront her and she told me she was the neighbor when she found out who I was. If you can't get the product done and not tell the customer about it you need to refund their money! I knowi own a business. I just want my money back now, I feel like I am getting ripped off and I will never get my money back . I live in ohio. I have called local equine businesses in paso robles to also hear bad reports about them.if I knew this was going to happen I would have never ordered from them I feel she is very deceptive I just want my refund I do not trust them and wonder how many other people they have done this to. If I don't get help here I will try other things I am not letting this go I work hard for money and was looking forward to this for a year now.its different if someone lets u know what's going on but they never haveDesired Settlement: My payment in full on credit card March 19 , 2014 $725.00
