Review: I received a traffic ticket in CA and after paying the fine called this company to arrange traffic school, was told the next class was August 10,2013. I signed up for the class and planned to make the drive in from Las Vegas to complete the class. The week of the class I was very sick and in fact had to stay in a hotel en route as I was unable to continue the drive. Despite feeling so sick I still made the trip as I was told that the next class was October 12, 2013. I arrived at the location where the traffic class was supposed to take place whereupon I was informed that the class had been cancelled because they did not have enough people sign up. I called the traffic school while still at the location and was informed that a message was left for me on August 8th, The woman, who was insufferable, verified my phone number and repeatedly spoke over me telling me a message was left on the 8th. Verizon pulled my incoming and outgoing call history from 08/01-08/10 and NO call was made. I'd like to follow up by saying I ended up in the emergency room on Sunday. I, however, bothered to show up. I called the company again today and the representative would not tell me how to reach or who the owner was or what the address there was saying 'It's not important.' After making calls to the Superior Court of California, the DMV in Sacramento, and a State Senator's Office, I was able to obtain the name of the owner as well as information ranging from her backup individual, their bond co and bond # and address to information re: their license, etc. Had I not lived here previously and been very politically active having contacts in the necessary offices, I would still probably have no information about that company art all. I then called the office back (having spent an entire day when I was still sick trying to get the information that I requested from the employee at that company) and asked for [redacted] and then [redacted] and was told neither one was in. I was told that they were going to be gone for two weeks . She knew who I was and was unbelievable rude. I said she needed to send an email or contact Ms. [redacted] or Ms. [redacted] and have one of them contact me because these needs to be resolved before I return to Las Vegas as I have no intention of returning again as it is apparent it's a hit or miss situation with this company. I am in the process of addressing the licensing issue with the state directly and so that is of no consequence. I should be back in Vegas and yet I still sit in CA. I am told, by their employee...'DON'T CALL US, WE'LL CALL YOU!!! One of the state officials I spoke with said she didn't know anyone actually used that expression in a business environment as it was so unbelievably unprofessional and insufferable. This sums up this company...unprofessional and insufferable. Also, there is a competency issue when it comes to notifying people that they can not hold a class because despite scheduling people for the class, I suppose not enough people to make it profitable for them. I, however, was able to make the trip from Vegas and be at the class although very sick. I find it VERY disturbing that I had to stir up a hornet's nest through my contacts in the area to get even the owner's name. Most people are not afforded that luxury. The records for this company need to be looked at closely and it be determined if this is a recurring problem and other's have lost wages, travel expenses, etc. due to the negligence of this company.Desired Settlement: I either expect this company to reschedule me and pay for expenses involved with getting me back to California to take the class at the original location at no cost to me. (or with a more reliable organization) This includes travel, food, gasoline for a rental car while here, airfare back (I MADE THE DRIVE ALREADY AND I AM GOING TO GIVE THEM A FEW DAYS BEFORE I HEAD BACK ALTHOUGH THEY ARE ALL GONE FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS) That will include a rental car as I am not even going to entertain the idea of putting the additional mileage on the automobile, food, and other associated expenditures AND in addition to an amount they and the many others who are now involved with this may think FAIR for the aggravation and detriment to my health that has resulted from all of this.... OR/AND reimburse me for ALL expenses that have been incurred .....over $ 700.00 to date in addition to an amount they and the many others who are now involved with this may think FAIR for the aggravation and detriment to my health that has resulted from all of this. "Don't call is" has resulted in calls to many others. I don't care who the company hires, but with a large unemployed pool of labor, having someone like that woman as the face of your company certainly is appropriate. I am staying a few more days and the bill is increasing. Perhaps you should get a cell phone or email so that you can be contacted since it was implied that no one in the company is reachable even when a name is obtained.

This person has had the policies of our company and the policies of the DMV explained to him on numerous occasions by myself and my firm, regarding class cancelations. He harassed us with daily phone calls for over a week. He threaten to show up at our place of business (two hours from where he was staying), in a tone that caused my staff to keep the door locked for a week for their safety. An aide to Assemblyperson [redacted] also spoke to him at length, and shared her thoughts on the conversation with me. I personally spoke with him on or around August 16th. I offered every possible remedy to help him complete his traffic school. He could not be satisfied and I could not help him. He was advised by both Assbm. Waldon's office, my staff, and myself, to move on and find another traffic school option that could best serve his needs, which could include an online course from his home in Las Vegas. After our conversation, I advised him this was our final conversation, and any further contact by him will result in his file being turned over to the police.

I have no paperwork regarding any policies associated with this company as the appointment was made over the phone with a gentleman who of all things asked me to call if I was not going to be able to attend. I called several times a day because I tried to reach the owner who when asked for was always hung up on. I had several other people call to see if they could get through including a 20 year naval doctor who also asked for the owner and was hung up on. The DMV had there bond company who when called stated that they were not bonded with them since 2003. This despite the DMV stating that their information needed be kept up to date. When called the day of the class, I was repeatedly told that they called on the 8th, which I can prove was a lie. The Assemblywoman's office just told me that as a private company they could not contact them. The DMV has a contract with them according to Bonita at the CA state Dept of Consumer Affairs. [redacted] at the DMV tried to blame the San Bernardino County Municipal Court and [redacted] in the legal DMV Legal Department referred me to someone who is still checking into the matter. My issue is no longer with this company and its MIA owner [redacted] nor its operator who hangs up on everyone , nor Mr [redacted] who offered me a discounted DMV class, but rather a DMV who allows a company it licenses to operate without updating its bond information for ten years and find if it is as lax when dealing with the insurance issues of licensed drivers in the state. This company hung up on 26 different people that tried to contact the supposed owner. I'm not sure if the ownership has been changed and they forgot to update that information with the state as well I am neither interested in dealing with an operator who can't tell if a number has been dialed nor and unfeeling of the supposed owner. Numerous calls would not have to made if the owner would have contacted me. The operator told one person 'if you want to reach her it isn't going to be through this number before hanging up.' Someone needs to find locate this owner and find out if she in fact exists whether it's through a government office or private investigation by the media or other investigatory means I am more concerned as to whether this is the modus operandi of this company and had not planned to turn this into a cause célèbre until now, as I feel threatened by questioning and expecting to hear from an owner of a company that made a verbal agreement with over the phone and which was not fulfilled by the other party. The demeanor of their response is indicative if the treatment I received throughout this processes. Someone in the state government has failed miserably when monitoring this company in particular. Everyone in this company has had a threatening and aggressive tone when dealing with me and the others whom I asked to try to 'get past the operator' for me. Should this owner exist I would think she would want to speak to a customer that her company failed miserably. Perhaps not, though??? I have felt threatened by the abusive and unbelievably aggressive tone of the staff there, which has been documented on my phone as I'm sure their calls are as well. I DO NOT under any circumstances wish any further contact with this 'company' unless it is from the supposed owner directly. Mr [redacted] is by far the nastiest and most aggressive individual of all while the operator is nothing more than insufferable. My phone records will show who has the more aggressive and threatening tone of voice. I suggest that no one other than [redacted] Brown contact me if she feels the need or I will turn my records over to the police. If she is unable to contact me, I do not under any circumstances expect to hear from any representative of that company. They should be aware that I have also spoken to the State Senator's office, courts, county supervisor and our Senator Harry Reid's office is working on finding out who in CA is responsible for oversight. I hardly would threaten anyone in an office, rather I think it important to find out who in state government had failed and needs be held accountable by the state.
