Review: The company fabricated and installed approximately $30,000 of custom railings and gates as part of a total home remodel/expansion. Although the ironwork and installation was satisfactory, the finish was not as the ironwork started to rust within 6 months. The company replaced one short hand rail that was the first to rust, but then refused to take any corrective action what-so-ever on ALL of the remaining ironwork that subsequently rusted within 2 years of installation.Desired Settlement: At the company's option they could also repair or refund.

Company states: The issue is they contacted us for a job that has been over 5 years over. They contacted us last year about some rust issues. We basically told them they need to get a painter out there. They did nto like that response. They contacted the CSL and CSL ruled we are not liable for this since it has been 5 years. We would even take care of it up to 2 years but this should have been addressed years ago. So we were found not liable by the CSL and the contractor The general contractor is no longer in the state. I was subcontracted through this contractor. They are trying to find somebody to pay for all of this.
