Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The representative of California Detailing is lying through his teeth, and I have text messages to prove it. I picked up the car on 10/16. On 10/18, I sent Ben [redacted] a text saying the car is leaking coolant. I have another text from 10/18 saying that he put coolant in because he saw that the coolant light was on. I subsequently paid to have the coolant flushed. That did not resolve the issue. I was later told that the car has a leak in the head gasket. Ben knew this when he sold me the car. I know he knew this because he told me when I bought the car that he would change the oil. When I went to pick up the car with my daughter, he claimed that he didn't have time to get to the oil change. I believe he did indeed go to do the oil change, saw the head gasket leak, then claimed he simply couldn't get to it. Ignorance was his excuse. I subsequently had the head gasket repaired, because I couldn't have my daughter driving an unsafe vehicle, so his offer to look at the car at this point is irrelevant since it's been fixed at my expense of $918. I want my $918 back, the cost of the coolant flush, and the cost of the oil change that I was forced to pay for since he lied about doing it. Total of right about $1,000. They could also simply take the car back for $3300.As a side note the owner of the other California Detailing in [redacted], who is not associated with these guys in [redacted], indirectly communicated to me that these guys are total [redacted] with a very bad reputation that is actually harming him, even though they are not affiliated. Regards,[redacted]
