I asked for a mini splint, forced me to pay cash upfront and never finished work or provided permits. Did not install in correct location. Never finished job.

CES, listed as a “nest pro” for installation of Nest smart t-stats. Their tech came to my house spent a couple hours trying to figure it out. Left saying he needed to research how to do it. Called me and said the Nest could not work on my system. After I’d paid them $200 to connect my Nest. Nest sent out a different nest pro that corrected CES bad connections and now it works fine. I notified CES two times that they charged me for not doing anything. They chose not to respond. I don’t like companies that say they can do something, make you pay first, then don’t get the job done and don’t respond to your complaint. Bad business. Not trustworthy.

I purchased a new mini split a/c unit from this company just last year in 07/2018. So the whole unit is new. Since the moment it was installed till today, all of these events have occurred: the a/c unit in the living room began leaking water down my wall creating a crack and bulging (after a few debates and discussion of it not being our fault of the dry wall not being properly done, they had someone come out to replace my wall & no paint) after sending someone out to come look at why it was leaking they said it was because of a workers negligence to snap the filtration in so water can properly drain to the outside hose, a few months later water began leaking down my unit in my bedroom at 4 am; a huge thing of water splashed all the way down splashing me in the face, once again they sent a technician and that technician determined that the unit in my room will be replaced by a new one, the day the new unit was being installed (by one man, these units are not light) that technician said that the ac coolant was spilling from the roof top compressor because it was not snapped in place all the way), today 7/12/2019, for a few days now the new ac unit in my room has been making a loud rustling noise making it very difficult to fall asleep.

During window installation in my home on July 23, 2018, I was informed by one of the installers that some type of liquid/solvent had spilled on my 4 month old table (purchased on 2/24/2018). I don't recall that installer's name however, I do remember him assuring me emphatically that my table would be "replaced". He then made a phone call and reiterated to me while yet on the phone with whomever that they would replace my table. They also took pics. for some reason, I felt this was going to be an issue getting my table replace; it wasn't going to be that simple so, I decided to call my bank; explain what transpired and requested a "stop payment" on the windows until this issue was resolved. I received a call from a *** from "Top Coat" and agreed to him coming to access my table. He came out a couple of weeks after the incident after looking at the table-informed me the table would have to be taken, sanded and repainted/stained at his shop. I decided after he left to call CES and informed them that I just would like them to replace my table as originally promised. Sanding my table, in my opinion, may have some discrepancies with color matching/blending and that is not what was agreeing to. I came home today and checked my mail box from Saturday's mail and much to my dismay-I received a letter of "NOTICE OF INTENT TO LEAN". This is just crazy and all I'm asking is that they replace my table and I will release the payment. On July 27th, I submitted my receipt of purchase of the Dining Room Set to *** at CES via email and explained that I initiated a "Stop Payment" on the windows until this has been completely resolved. This has gone on too long and this company needs to honor their agreement. Please Revdex.com, help me in this issue. it's very overwhelming and I don't want to keep payment from this company but our word should stand for itself. it's our bond. if they can't replace please refund what I paid for it.

We are sorry for damaging Ms. table. We had asked if she would allow us to attempt to repair it. After she declined, we did agree to replace Ms. table.

When asked to provide us with a receipt for that table and we would pay her that amount, she did in fact provide us with a receipt, but that included all the chairs, delivery and an extended warranty. We were offering to pay for the table only, not the chairs and extended warranty.

Ms. had put a stop payment on a check for the windows that were installed in her home. All the material and labor has already been provided. We offered for her to withhold the amount of a replacement table, but she has declined to make any payment. Withholding the entire amount is not reasonable since we have provided all the material and labor. Withholding the amount of a new table is reasonable.

Even though we have offered her a full replacement of the table, she withheld payment and put a negative review on ***.

I would like this false review removed and payment to be made.

We will continue with the Mechanics Lien Process and will be filing at Lien on her property this week if she does not make the payment.

While we were simply asking if you would be agreeable to us trying to repair it versus replacement, you gave us a one star review. Not Fair to give a one star review.

From the beginning, we were trying to make sure you were going to be happy with the outcome. We asked you to make a good faith payment work the windows you received. At every turn thus far, you have avoided making any type of payment.

Of course there is interest and penalties for non payment. But I have offered to waive these if payment is made now and If you recant your unfair review.

We always hope to have long term happy relationships with our customers. We don't want an adversarial relationship. Our guys did a great job on the windows. We made a mistake and damaged your table. We are willing to pay for the replacement. We always have been willing.

Rebates are not issued until payment is made in full. That is a condition of rebates.

*** reached out to your in an effort to return your old check and pick up a new one for the proper amount. He said the you are only available tomorrow (Tues). Lets please get this resolved before I'm unable to waive the interest, penalties and bank returned check fee. If a Mechanics Lien is filed, there would be Attorney fees added as well.

We would like to get this resolved for you.

I am NOT rejecting this response altogether:

I have received my voided check and you have received the other written in the amount of $5,271.00. It was picked up on the 21st of the month by *** and as he mentioned in our convo "too many hands were in this to begin with" and it went awry. I've purchased over $15,000.00 worth of services from CES within 6 months time(no financing needed) and this was not my first time holding or having payment held due to something CES did not complete as agreed upon prior to having it done ie HVAC system, etc. Also the whole window issue took a while due to it being too many hands and miss communications. My intent was never getting something for nothing. it's just that you must keep your word. Integrity is everything in my opinion. I said I would revise my review on *** and would give a complete but concise story from start to finish. This is a place (***) where consumers are able to post their experiences in addition to, how they rate various companies/business/establishments. So that will be done. It there is nothing else this is my final post. thank you.

The air return grill in the upstairs hall & the grill in the landing have both come loose & are sticking out. I called the company about this problem & a man came out & spent less than 10 minutes & said it was fixed. But a few days later they popped out again. The existing grills were used & when they took them off, the screws were stripped, so they won't stay. The last time I called & told them the problem they told me it would cost me $125 for them to fix it. Why should I pay for something that wasn't done right the first time?

The customer is requesting work that is outside the scope of our contract.

Several months ago, at no charge, one of our Technicians went by their home to help with the customer concerns. The Technician went through all of the customer issues and tightened all the screws. We have been out to the customers house on several occasions to do work for free outside of the original contract. We again, sent a Technician to the home on Saturday, June 16th to go through any new / old issues. Again at no charge to the customer. We believe all issues (outside the contract) have been resolved.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We ordered 3 sets of french doors on 12/8 *** the salesperson said would take 3 weeks. A week later he emailed me and said there was a delay because of a software update and now doors were not available until February but we could change to another company and they guaranteed delivery in 3 weeks. After a few weeks we were told the doors were on a truck and would be delivered to us on Jan 12th. The truck never showed up so I contacted *** and he said there was a mistake and they delivered the doors to hos warehouse instead of our house but promised me they would be delivered on Monday. Again the doors never showed up. I had to contact him again to find out why doors never showed up and he told me someone called in sick, he was very sorry and would get us money back and the doors would now be there on Tuesday by 9:45 am. Doors did not show up by 9:45 am but they did show up eventually that morning. The driver asked my wife who was going to help him get them off the truck? How do you send a driver to deliver doors that he can't get off truck because they are too heavy? Its like a comedy of errors.
So my wife has to call our contractor to leave another job to come to our house to help the driver unload the doors. When I called *** the salesperson his answer was "Don't you have anyone at the house to help?"
To top it all off after all the misrepresentations, lies and mistakes the doors are the wrong size and *** basically tell me "your contractor does not know what he is doing". *** lied to us over and over and made up story after story and then sends us standard size doors even after he knew they were not. Horrible customer service and horrible compani

Customer came into our showroom to purchase French Doors. Customer's Contractor supplied us with the door size they wanted.

Customer signed a contract for those sizes. Customer received the size doors that he requested which are specified in the contract he signed.

This is a Supply Only Job based on sizes requested by Customer and Customer's Contractor.

There have been NO Lies. We have been very honest about lead times. We have no reason to lie about anything. We only want the customer to get what he ordered. Based on the contract and delivery receipt, the Customer did in fact received exactly what he ordered.

Customer has not paid the balance for these doors. There is an outstanding balance of $1000. A Mechanic's Lien will be filed on his property in 10 days for non payment.

I am rejecting this response because:

#1 I have the emails from *** apologizing for the numerous screw ups and telling me he would make sure we were compensated.

#2 I gave *** a credit card for the full balance of the doors and have those emails as well giving him authorization to charge the full amount to my credit card. They are so unorganized and lost that one does not know what the other is doing. They should go back and search *** emails to see what he promised and the lies and excuses he made as well as the correspondence authorize the credit card at time of sale in full. Those emails will also show that he clearly says he will get me compensated for having to have contractors sit at house and pay someone to come unload the truck since their delivery driver had no way to get them off the truck himself

The business is dishonest and I have hired an attorney to fight them in court. They should have just compensated me like *** promised
