In years of experience, this is the only person to say that I am dishonestThe consumer is not always right as the inspection
and report have proven
The accusations and statements the consumer claims are evidence that she is confused with the information reported to MohawkThe consumer claims that I used a solution on her carpet, but it was white vinegar that I carry and use to spot clean spots on affected soiled areasI never asked her about vinegar nor did I report that she uses it on her carpet
If her carpet was "diseased with unknown spots and soil damage" why would she sign off with the installers/dealers that the carpet was acceptable and in perfect condition? And why would someone wait so long (a year) to put in a claim with the manufacturer if something was noticed right after it was installed?
Her condition is a locally caused condition which is wear and tear in any usable product, which reoccurs with improper maintenance if not cared for properlyIf these were stains caused during manufacturing, the stains would not come out with plain water and white vinegarAlso, the installers would have caught the manufacturer's defect and would not have installed the carpet
I did mention to her that she has the right to get a second opinion and dispute my report if a second inspector has a different finding
The consumer is frustrated and disappointed with her off-white colored carpet which soils quicker and more prominently than a darker colored carpet would
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2015/09/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have owned carpet for over years, and I have NEVER seen carpet grow spots such as mineThis response to the Revdex.com claim shows that you continue to write fraudulent reportsThese are my answers to your Revdex.com response: I am NOT confused you areYour report that YOU wrote for Mohawk says I used vinegar on the carpetRead your OWN report or I can give you a copy of YOUR own reportNo, you never asked ME to use vinegar on the carpet, but you never told me that YOU were going to use vinegar on the carpet because I would have asked you NOT to do it!! I hate the smell of vinegar! And, what are you talking about that I "signed off with the installers/dealer that the carpet was "acceptable and in perfect condition?" I NEVER signed ANY such agreement with the installer or dealer! Or anyone! They didn't ask me or request that I sign any paperwork after they installed the carpet! You are making up another story! Also, I did tell you that I had filed a claim with Mohawk beginning in October, and I had sent Mohawk pictures of the spots that I also showed you! I showed YOU letters that I mailed to Mohawk about the spots in the carpetI am 64-years-old and I have owned homes that I installed carpet in, and I have lived with carpet my whole life, and I never seen spots EVER in any NEW carpetThe spots did not show up when the carpet installers were workingThe spots showed up as weeks went byThe spots were not caused by "wear and tear and improper maintenance" as you call itI am a meticulous housekeeperI had the carpet professionally cleaned (twice) as Mohawk told me to doThe carpet cleaners saw the problem also and could not get the spots out permanentlyI own a steam cleaner and I have to steam clean the carpet every or so days to keep the spots from showing upThe spots came back and you saw them! I am frustrated with YOUR UNPROFESSIONALISM!
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 19, 2015/10/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Clearly, this so-called inspector wrote a report on the wrong home and he will not admit itI appreciate the help of the Revdex.comI will be taking this complaint and report of fraudulent business practices up with other agencies that pertain to this kind of complaint, as well as his inspection licensing agency
Final Business Response /* (4000, 21, 2015/10/11) */
My report is clear, accurate, precise, and under industry standardsThe report was accepted by the carpet manufacturer
My report is my expert opinion and I stand by my report 100%
The consumer has every right to obtain a second opinion and should use her rights
