Mr. *** appears to be behind on his information. For the last two years CLN, which is mailed to prisoners within the California state prison system, has been published by Life Support Alliance Education Fund (LSAEF), a c 3, not *** *** and the address for subscription
payments changed with the change in ownership. *** *** continues to operate a stamp purchasing business, wherein he accepts quantities of unused postage stamps and remits a portion of the face value to the sender. While CLN still accepts stamps for subscription payment, LSAEF and CLN are not a part of stamps-for-cash business
We have no record of Mr***'s letter including stamps for a subscription. I suspect that, since he is still apparenlty still confused on who is producing CLN, his 'subscription' may have been mailed to the old address (not used by CLN for two years) in Walnut, Ca. If so, and he included stamps in that letter, it is possible those conducting the cash-for-stamps business failed to forward the subscription to LSAEF or assumed the stamps were to be redeemed for cash. We receive many letters from inmates who assume we still provide cash for stamps; those letters, and the included stamps, are forward to the Walnut, Caaddress for the stamp business. We often receive calls from inmates, wondering where their payment for stamps is, and we explain to them we have forwarded those to Mr***. Conversely, we receive occasional calls from inmates who say they sent stamps for subscriptions but have not received the publication. Often they cannot tell us where they sent the original letter/stamps--to our address in Rancho Cordova or to former address in Walnut, Ca
LSAEF is a non-profit, volunteeer agency supported entirely by donations. Our mission is to assist prisoners, but financially we cannot provide CLN free of charge. CLN is published bi-monthly, so that Mr*** would have received only issues, had we received his subscription. Because Mr*** is a prisoner apparently interested in gaining his freedom our Board of Directors will consider and decide if we can add him to our subscription list for the remaining issues published in 2014, but we will not send back issues, as we are unable to verify where Mr*** sent his stamps
If approved, this is a one-time accommodation only; if Mr*** expects to continue to receive CLN, he should be certain he is using the correct address, published in each issue of CLN

Review: On Oct. 23, 2013, I sent four books of stamps (U.S. Postal Stamps) to an organization called C.L.N. (Calif. Lifer Newsletter), this organization is owned and supervised by[redacted], an attorney. The stamps were sent as payment for a years subscription for the Liver's Newsletter published by C.L.N. However, after a month of sending the stamps and I had not received anything I sent a letter Nov. 24, 2013, to C.L.N. asking them if they have received my stamps... C.L.N. did not reply. On Dec. 25, 2013, I sent a 2nd letter with a S.A.S.E. Asking the same question as the first letter... again there was no reply. On Jan. 15, 2014, I sent a 3rd and final letter to C.L.N. explaining that I sent two previous letters and why and that there was not a reply to either of the letters... I further explained in that letter, that if I did not receive a response to the letter within fourteen days of receipt of the letter I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com informing them that I sent payment for for a product from C.L.N., but did not receive the product. Thereby, with this letter I am filing a formal complaint against C.L.N., [redacted], Owner with the Revdex.comDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
