which is outsourced to a private vendor, Platinum Physician Billing Service of Modesto CA. CMIA has responded by phone call to Mr [redacted] and listened to the issues he has noted, and we have requested that the vendor Platinum Billing contact Mr [redacted] and address the details of his concerns with him.

Yes, I did receive a phone call from the Chief Medical Officer of CMIA. He informed me that CMIA outsourced billing to Platinum Physician Billing. As I explained to him no where on statements or anywhere else doeas it mention Platinum billing as the party responsible for the problems. I understand why CMIA feels this is a Platinum Physician billing issue. However, the point I made during the phone call was CMIA contracts with Platinum to do their billing, CMIA was aware that their were issues with Platinum and it's unknown if they addressed the issues with their contract vendor. CMIA provides outstanding service and my intent in filing the complaint does not reflect on their service, it was to bring to light a billing issue that from my investigation many people have been dealing with. I appreciate the telephone call and the response but I do not feel the billing and collection issue has been addressed and requesting the vendor to call will probably never happen.
