Ms. [redacted] purchased triple occupancy 2 day Yosemite trip from us departed on August 1, 2015. Due to shortage of rooms with sofa sleepers, we requested some of the triple occupancy passengers ** change their bedding to quad occupancy (...

Shared bed). We needed 6 triple occupancy passengers ** change.
We received 6 volunteers. Ms. [redacted] was not one of them. Ms. [redacted] had on own bed on our 2 day Yosemite trip. Triple occupancy trip is based on a bed per person. All 6 volunteers received refund credits within 1 business day after bedding change confirmation was established with our passengers.
Ms. [redacted]'s initial email claiming for refund was not very clear on what service she received. After several email exchanges, we established and confirmed that service she received was based on what she purchased, a triple occupancy trip. There was no change to her service to provide refund credit.We denied her request for refund credit.
We concluded that Ms. [redacted]'s claim for refund was based on her intent and misunderstanding of our tour guide's announcement requesting for bedding change.
For the record, we would like to send our email exchange with Ms. [redacted]. Our time we spent with Ms. [redacted] to obtain the truth far exceeds $35.00.

1. The tour company didn't inform to customers about the shortage of room until 8:00pm on that date which was just right before we arrived to the hotel.
2. Customers had no choice to decide whether they would like to continue the tour or not because it was too far to return to UCB from Yosemite so this was not an voluntary issue or not as there was no choice at all, they force the customers to follow their instruction.
3. There was not a misunderstanding, I fully able to understanding from the tour guide said the quad room can get refund but they never mention only the shared bed can get refund.
4. I informed them that there was not shared bed in my room because the two other roommate refused to sleep together so one of them decided to sleep on the floor but the tour company replied that they didn't care about if the customer would like sleep on the floor after the door closed so non of us were volunteer base on their failure in provide the services that we purchased.
5. I also spent a lot of time to communicate with them but in vain so it is not only their time but also my treasure time but I [redacted] not say something like "Our time we spent with Ms. [redacted] to obtain the truth far exceeds $35.00." as it is definately the right of a "small" customer when they had face with the irresponsible tour comkpany like USA Student Tour.
6. I am not a justice but I do understanding the right of the consumer, especially we are only a tourist (tourist only a minority compare with a local tour organization), we shall be protected and Revdex.com should avoid this kind of bad services company exist and continue to harm any other tourist that may result bad tourist image within California.
I could share all the emails correspondance as well so Revdex.com or public could justify the services provided by USA Student Tour.
