Review: The company mentioned in this complaint, shut off cold water services without giving proper notice. Even after payment was scheduled through my financial institution. Today is one of the hottest day of the week. I consider their action a health issue because there are three children under the age of 10 that reside in the home (ages 9,6,5).Desired Settlement: What I would like to happen in the future. Is that this company refrain from shutting off cold water services for customers, like myself, who own less than $100.00 as well as keeping cold water for customers on hot summer days. My cold water was shut off for owing $52.00.

Hello, My name is [redacted]. I initiated a complaint on behalf of myself regarding the California Water Service Company. I would like to inform you that. I was finally able to speak to a manager. I explained to her my case 1. that a payment was scheduled from my financial institution. 2 that no one had notified me that my water was going to be shut off. Her response to the latter was that they had mailed a notification on April 25th other than that no further notification was needed. I made arrangements with her regarding the amount I owed $53.00. She agreed to the arrangements and waived a $50.00 connection fee that was added to my account. At around 5pm the same day that the complaint was initiated my cold water was reconnected.
