California's Tru Blue Pool Service Reviews (1)

Stacy did not complete the repair on my pool pump and left wire exposed with 220 electrical current going through it which constituted an extreme danger to both life and limb and my property.
Here are the details:
I called Fidelity Home Warranty on the afternoon of September 26th because the person who services my pool informed me that the control panel to my pool pump had burned out and the pool pump is inoperable without it. He told me he could repair it but it should be covered under my home warranty. Hence, I made the call to Fidelity.
The first vendor was unable to come out for days so I was given the referral to California's Tru Blu Pool Serivces. Stacy told me she could out that very day. September 27th. She came out that day and was able to replace the control panel. She pointed out that the wires were exposed but she never stated anything about the potential danger posed about leaving the wires exposed without protective coating. She said she would come out the following Monday, September 29th to put a 90 degree on the exposed wires. Stacy never showed up on Monday and she never called me. I called her several times and she finally sent me a text message late in the day on Tuesday, 9/30, stating she would come the next day. Wednesday rolled around and she did not show up again! She finally contacted me late on Wednesday and told me she would come on Thursday. On Thursday, it was the same story, she did not show up and she finally returned my call at 4:30 PM, again, promising to come out on Friday. I told her the exposed wire posed an extreme danger and she still did not act. She didn't think it was dangerous, which is even more concerning. On Friday, she did not show up again! I have a record on my cell phone of all my attempts to make contact including text messages. She did not show up 5 straight days in a row. At the same time, she should have completed the repair the very day she changed the control panel because it was dangerous to not do so!
I talked to 3 licensed pool contractors and they ALL told me that the exposed wires posed an extreme danger!!!! (One of the pool contractors is on Fidelty's list) I was told that there were many dangers associated with the expsoed wires: there was a potential for someone to be electrocuted, if the wire got wet it could short out my whole electrical system and/or cause an electrical fire! I do have a picture of the exposed wires and I have witnesses who saw the exposed wires.
Due to the very dangerous situation created by Stacy's extreme negligence and total lack of responsibilty, I had to hire my own pool contractor who was able to complete the repair on Saturday, October 4th. I could not wait any longer for Fidelity to send another vendor days later. I was already tempting fate because the repair wasn't completed at the same time as the control panel was replaced. I talked to [redacted] in the Authorization Department and she did not show one bit of concern about the danger posed by the exposed wires and she did not seem concerned in the least that Stacy did not show up 5 days in a row! Stacy told her that completing the repair was not a priority and she said leaving the exposed wires was not dangerous! Absolutely unbelievable!
Do not hire her!
