But she started to tell me about all the issues that were going on with my "network"And then brought up "***" I was scammed before by people putting [redacted] on my computer and then wanting to charge me to have them "fix" my network She was going to charge me $for this one time fix I said NO So, USE CAUTIONThey try to sound legit- but I don't believe they are

These guys don't stop callingThey have called me every single day for the last monthsThe stole $from me last year and did absolutely nothingAll I had to do was do a hard shut down and it was perfectly fineDon't fall for the pop up blocker!!!

I'm almost positive this company is a fakeDo not believe the popup that comes on your screen! If you get the popup, do not call the number and try to exit your browser or shut down the computerThey will scam you into paying for antivirus software when most likely your computer isn't even infectedI fell for this scam and asked for a refund and they said I had to pay a cancellation feeI will be disputing this if need beBottom line, this is scam and they can control your computer if you call the numberDon't believe the popup!

I responded to a pop up with Microsoft all over itLeased Symantec Endpoint Security for $Could be worth $A scam for sure!

I went about 'halfway' thru a 'disk clean up' sort of thing---but stopped when they wanted my owner.daughter's password;[I didn't have it] moments later, I cancelled my account, though they got 60$ of 159$ for doing basic maintainance; I suspect something here and requested a refund; 99.99$ was grantedI'll wait and see if they follow thru ***

I cannot believe this, after reading the reviews of the peopleSo, I am not the only one that got this stupid scamMe too I thought it was Apple because they had their logoSeriously, I have no words to explain how stupid I feelThey took ALL my information and I hope that I will get my money back because these *** told me that they have all the documents to prove to the bank that they are not scamming, which is completely false
The police should do something!

So the first time these ppl called me, I fell for the "oh, you're computer is not safe! It's going to crash!" routine and paid $for them to gain access and fix my computerA year later they call and tell me something else is wrong, I let them into my computer AGAIN like a dummy! This time I had a feeling it was a scam, I unplugged my computer while they were doing whatever it was they claimed to be fixing, and took my computer to a computer shopPlease please PLEASE! DONT LET THESE SCAM ARTIST INTO YOUR COMPUTER!!! They say their microsoft affiliates and make everything sound so urgent! It's all a lie! Don't fall for it!

If you are reading this and are trying to figure out if "Call to Resolve" is a safe company to use, IT IS NOT! I was directed to this company's phone number after I visited a shady free movie website that led me to believe my computer had been attacked by multiple viruses and should seek help immediately from a very unreliable scam company known as "Call to Resolve." Impatient and eager to get my computer back to normal, I called the company and was greeted almost instantly by a woman who spoke broken English. She went on to tell me that my computer was at extreme risk of crashing and losing all of my private information including passwords, recent financial history, photos, etc. and that the only way to alleviate the damage was to allow a technician to do a virus scan and to install a 7 layer protection software onto my laptop. After telling me it would cost $99.99, she quickly transferred me to a technician who was able to view my computer screen with me while simultaneously "fixing the problem." The first sign that I made a huge mistake, of course after paying a stranger $100, was seeing that the technician had completely finished his work in less than 15 minutes after the woman told me the process would take an hour and a half to two hours. He asked if I had any questions and then immediately hung up the phone. Knowing I made the dumbest mistake possible in falling for this scam, I took my laptop, Macbook Air, to the Apple Store, where a technician immediately knew the scam I was referring to and advised me to delete every trace of software or files the company had installed on my computer and to update my computer to clean out any outside or foreign hazards that came with the scam. He also reminded me that the company had now had not only access to my entire laptop and its features, but also to my debit card, and all the money that was linked to it. So I then had to sit down with a consultant at my bank to completely erase my previous banking account and start over with a new account, checking and savings, and a new card. I never knew how much trouble a click on my screen and a phone call to what I thought would be a helpful tool, could be, so learn from my mistake and DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

So before I go into detail I just want to say that I was scammed by this company and I'm THIRTEEN. This so called company said that I have a virus and at first I believed them but then sooner or later my mom and I realized that wasn't true. They said Apple doesn't have the best software to protect computers and the claimed that they have a tater one. I should've realized that was a scam since we all know that Apple software never get viruses. Anyway, we gave our information and my mom and I payed $99.99. Their " software" shouldn't have taken 12 hours so I called back and no one answered. An hour later I get a call from the same number but the person on the line claimed to be from another company. I believed him. Now here comes the ironic part. This " new company" told me that I was scammed by Call to Resolve. Once this " new company took control of my computer the technician told me that I should pay $200. Thank god my mom told me to call Apple and ask if this company was scamming me because we didn't want to go through the same thing again. It was no surprise that this company was scamming us. I talked to a technician from Apple and he walked me through deleting my history, my files, and any existence of these companies from my laptop. This of course worked.
Overall, I was about to be scammed again from this company so please if your reading this either :
1) research the company your dealing with so you know who your talking to
2) just call Apple

But she started to tell me about all the issues that were going on with my "network". And then brought up "[redacted]". I was scammed before by people putting [redacted] on my computer and then wanting to charge me to have them "fix" my network. She was going to charge me $149.00 for this one time fix. I said NO. So, USE CAUTION. They try to sound legit- but I don't believe they are.

They Used a pop up screen which froze system. Said Microsoft indicated system had malware. Needed to call this telephone number to fix and release system. Cost $199 and $599 for 5 years.
Thinking it was Microsoft said Ok. I called. They signed on to system without permission
and took control. System was then useable. Asked for printed material on the company.. Was told it only existed online.
Asked for refund. Said when you paid you accepted their policy.2 additional email
requests received no answer. Receive telephone call, told me to review refunds
on website. In summary refunds are up to them. I consider myself the dumbest person on the planet for falling for this scam. They now have the ability to sigh on to your system at anytime without you knowing. They did this one time during call,
as I watched.
Have now signed with proven provider to prevent this hacking..

I responded to a pop up with Microsoft all over it. Leased Symantec Endpoint Security for $449.98. Could be worth $60.00 A scam for sure!

These guys don't stop calling. They have called me every single day for the last 3 months. The stole $150 from me last year and did absolutely nothing. All I had to do was do a hard shut down and it was perfectly fine. Don't fall for the pop up blocker!!!

call to resolve is running a scam to remove computer virus. they have cheated me for more than 200 dollars for doing nothing

I initially received a message out of the blue when I went to Safari about a month ago instructing me to contact CallToResolve to "diagnose then fix my iMac computer and protect it from malware" with a 3 or 5 year plan. I became suspicious when after they took control of my computer for several hours, and when finished many of my Apps could not be accessed. I was then disturbed to see so many negative reviews from the Revdex.com which stated that the company was not Revdex.com accredited. I contacted CallToResolve to voice my concerns, and to cancel my 5 year protection plan thinking that I likely had been fully scammed. To the credit of CallToResolve, they did cancel the 5 year plan, and refunded me $499 out of $599 that was initially charged. To what degree CallToResolve is a legitimate organization, I cannot say, but I was relieved to receive the refund promised. After restoring my Mac to an earlier version from Backup, my computer is working fine now. I hope this is helpful to others. [redacted]
