Cadillac came out with a Lease Pull Ahead program earlier this month for our customers that have up to payments remaining. Typically, this promotion runs once or twice a year. It only applies to customers that are getting out early and getting into a
new Cadillac. Dominic has been with Sarant Cadillac for years and with Cadillac for over years. For over ten years, Dominic has been one of the top five salespeople in the country. He has also maintained a CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) rating of 97% or better. His track record shows that he is an honest and honorable salesperson. I spoke to Dominic regarding this matter, and he said that he would never tell *** ***, or anyone for that matter, that you can just return your car early without any penalty. *** *** obviously misunderstood the program guidelines and Dominic. We would be happy to help *** *** in any way, whether its to get into a new vehicle or to return his lease once it has matured. This was just a misunderstanding and Sarant is always here to help

Here are the facts....1. The customer has not had their vehicle serviced here at Sarant Cadillac since July of 2015. While it was in, it had an issue with the air conditioning unit and harness. Our Service Deptfixed the unit. The customer decided not to come back to
Sarant Cadillac and has since been servicing her vehicle at another Cadillac dealership. 2. The customer came in on the night of 1/** after the Service Deptwas closed. The Service Manager was here and ran a diagnostic on the vehicle. We did not have a loaner car available, but got her a loaner first thing the following day. She was also offered a ride home that evening. 3. The customer has never been charged for a loaner vehicle. We have a full Cadillac fleet of Courtesy Transportation vehicles for warrantied service. She did however, choose to take an optional additional insurance rider for $when she was in for service in July of 2015. 4. The issue with her vehicle was caused by a lack of power from the battery terminal. The battery was very loose and not secured in the battery harness. This does not happen from driving. It had to have been loosened by a ratchet.5. The customer had damage on her vehicle and took it to a collision shop not affiliated with Sarant Cadillac. The damage was in the rear left quarter panel of the vehicle. The battery on a ATS sedan is located in the rear left quarter panel of the trunk. 6. Both a Service Technician and the Service Manager agreed that the battery must have been loosened by the collision shop to repair the dent, and not returned securely into the harness. We have since tightened the battery and had the vehicle road tested for three nights to ensure the vehicle is operating properly. Antonio Centeno, the Executive General Manager, has been in contact with the customer since the first night of the occurrence and is in talks with the customer to hopefully get her into a new lease as she is uncomfortable driving the vehicle.  1. The dealership provided me with a loaner car only after I went the extra lengths. 2 employees of the dealership confirmed that the car was all wheel drive, unfortunately that was a lie. The car was stuck in the snow with my small infant in it. 2. I did not service the car at Sarant after my first experience with them because I found them to not treat me very nicely and the electronic problem with the car was  not resolved. 3. There is absolutely no way possible that body work I had done on the car 14 months ago has led to this car completely shutting off on a highway and turning back on. The dealership has an explanation for why the car turned off due to a ratchet being loose, but there is no explanation as to how or why the car turned back on with loose ratchets.4. The cars electronic system has had a lag since I was 2 months into the lease. Problem not fixed. 5. The body shop has confirmed with me that they 100% secured that battery properly and there is no way this is the problem it would create 14 months later. 6. The dealership is looking for an excuse or a way out to blame someone else for a car that is not sufficient. 7. Antonio has contacted me with an offer to get me into the same car I am in at 575 a month. That is a outrageous offer since my monthly payment now is 375$. 8. Now they have given me back my faulty and erratic car which I do not feel safe driving. I am scared to be behind the whole of a car that can turn off and turn back on at any possible minute. 9. The body work done on the car was for a small dent. The only reason they even used this heinous excuse is because I have the body shop liscense plate  covers on my car.

As I stated in my complaint.  I specifically asked the dealer when the offer was made to me to return the vehicle that I AM NOT PURCHASING ANOTHER VEHICLE, and made the appointment to only return it.  I've leased many cars in the past and if I was to lease another car from the dealer, no special buyback program would be necessary.  I am certain that they would take the current lease back early if I leased another one for 3 years.  I am clearly aware that it is not a common practice for a dealer to take the car back 4 month early.  For that reason, I made 2 additional follow up phone calls to question Dominic before the scheduled appointment to confirm the details.He  must have misheard me, on 3 different occasions.
