We were informed by the resident that she would be deployedPer our policy and in accordance withtheService members Civil Relief Act, we requested a copy of her official military deployment orders with her name on it so we could move forward on terminating her leaseUnfortunately, this is something the resident could not provideWe do support our troops and to date for the Fall lease term, we have released other individuals who are being deployed, who were all able to provide official documentation that they were being deployed.As of yesterday, September 5, we spoke with Major in the Oklahoma National Guard in regards to this resident' s deploymentRestated it was odd that papers were being withheld on her,but he did give us something in writing, with her name on it, stating she would be deployed in OctoberWith this,we are able to terminate her lease at the end of September.Because of our unique location within steps to campus,we do have very limited parking availabilityThis was explained during tours with the option of resident garage parkingAdditionally, all residents received a mofolder that outlined all options for visitor parking.In regards to maintenance notices, we do notify residents prior to entering units for any sort of routine or monthly inspect ions, which could be changing air filters, pest control, etcIf a resident has a question about maintenance being performed, they are always more than welcome to call the office.Additionally, if a resident has a concern with maintenance entering their unit while they are unavailable, the resident can schedule a t im e with maintenance to perform any work needed in the apartment.The fire alarm did activate in the building, as there was an issue with the garage sprinkler systemTwas repaired immediately and the building was cleared to enterThere was no fire alarm test, but if we were performing a test, we would notify our residents.Throughout the day, if a resident comes down and requests to speak with a manager immediately, there's a potential that a manager may not be availableWhile we try to make ourselves as available as possible, there are times when we are in other meetings, conference calls, marketing in the community, on property with residents or maintenance, performing building walks, etcAny resident who needs to speak with a manager is always encouraged to reach out and setup a meeting time to ensure there is someone available and ready for the residentIn this resident's case, she did meet with our Leasing Manager multiple times, as well as speak with our Assistant Manager

something the resident could not provide. We do support our troops and to date for the Fall 2017 lease term, we have released 3
other individuals who are  being
deployed,  who  were all able
to  provide official documentation that

make ourselves as available as possible, there are
times when we are in other meetings, conference
calls, marketing in the community, on property with residents or maintenance,
performing building walks, etc. Any resident who needs to speak with a manager is always
encouraged to reach out and setup a meeting time to ensure there is someone available and ready for the resident. In this resident's case, she did meet with our Leasing Manager multiple times, as well as speak with our Assistant
Manager.
